I hate all this sh*t my mobile is a works phone

had a call today from this number offering me a free mobile upgrade. said they were from "3" asked for my details,unable to call them back so must be a scam,reported them to b.t and "3"

2nd dodgy call of the day so it seems.  Didn't here my phone ring so couldn't answer.

Tried ringing back and line dead.

about 10 mins ago, reading the previous comments, Im quite concerned as I have  contracts with 3 mobile

Phoned me at 17:01, i picked up and they didnt say anything. So i hung up

I never answer when I dont know the number...the caller can leave a message if it's genuine.  I have been with Three directly for about 6 years - never use a shop or 3rd party.  I guess they know the provider through the code - but reckon it's random.  I am registered with TPS & MPS - makes a difference, but still get calls.

had missed call from them at 1454 today, googled it, they're not up to good...

They called me at 3:15pm this afternoon, asking for my dad's personal details because he pays the bills - i gave them his name, date of birth and our address. They also even asked for my name. And they never said who they are, just that they are ringing about renewing my contract. At the end of the call, the woman just said that she would get back to me when my contract needs updating. I tried to ring back but it says engaged.
Thinking about ringing the police to let them know there are lots of problems with this number.

This number/call has been reported to Police in Kent, as per an above entry.

I am not sure as to why they are requesting these details, but suffice to say it is not for purely innocent reasons.

Contact the network supplier to your phone and/or BT and inform them of this number.
A report is being generated.

They just called me...said they were from my phone network and said i was ready for a phone upgrade. They guessed when I first took out my contract and got it wrong. Almost got me though cos I am nearly due for an upgrade. Asked me for my name and date of birth.....as if lads.

My daughter had a call today claiming to be 3 ringing about an upgrade. She gave them name, DOB and address. They said they would call back later but didn't. I rang 3 this evening who confirmed that a dealer had phoned today checking whether she was eligible for an upgrade, after speaking to her. 3 confirmed she wasn't and that is why they didn't ring back. I am a bit confused as to why 3 would give them any information if they knew they were a dealer.

A woman with possibly a Leeds accent called saying they were from 3 phones and asked about whether i had recently had an upgrade. They then tried to get personal details saying they needed these details to access my account to flag up that I had now already been contacted with regard to an upgrade so that I would not be called again regarding an upgrade.

I refused. I said you will just have to make a note not to call me. They said they couldnt do that and needed my details to access the account. I said NO, call back again and I will tell you the same.

Just called me there, i never answered.
