well i never the buggers i had a call and they woke me up of all things and never said a word i hate these people... i hate them alot

I answer and a woman said "paul green he's called" and then hung up. I will never phone anything like this back as i guess it could be a scam. finding this site confirms this to me!!!

I have had a call today - didnt answer it.  i think this is something to do with 3 mobile.  I am always getting random calls- i think its time to have a chat with them!

i had the same number ring me about an 12.34 this afternoon. Rang the number back to see who it was but the phone call was rejected.  Any ch.ance of finding the company or people that are invovled to stop this...its Manchester number so that narrows it down...slighlty

Told me they were working on behalf of all UK utility companies and that I owed a lot of money.  When I disagreed they said O/K mate we will sent the debt collectors round and hung up.

I had this call at 11:45am - 16/05/08, I missed the call so I didn't find out what the scam was they were trying to pull this time. I generally don't call numbers back that i don't know without looking them up first, and that's why I'm here.

A lot of people are saying they're hanging up before they can answer. I can only presume this is from the company calling, using a multi-dialer. the hang up after one of however many people they're calling, picks up the call.

I had a missed call yeaterday (15th May 2008) and today at 2:37 pm.

I googled it to find it was a scam.

Had at least a dozen silent calls in the past 2 weeks (no calls on Sundays!).
Unable to call back as constantly engaged.
Reported to BT but was told to register with TPS (I thought I already was!!), alas, to no avail!

This company are driving me mad.  They call constantly and just hang up.  Last week I was fast enough to catch them, and a girl said she was calling from Energy UK, and trying to sell me electricity and gas supply.   I clearly told her I was registered TPS, and she must delete me from the database.

Seven days later, the company are still calling and hanging up.  Does anyone know who they really are?

Got a call from this number, rang twice then hung up, thought I would google to see who it was as my number is both business and personal and thought it might be work, but then found all this.  Is it anything to worry about?

Emergency tarriff on electricty

HAD A CALL FROM THIS NUMBER SAYING THEY WERE ENERGY UK AND THERE WAS A PROBLEM WITH MY ELECTRICITY ACCOUNT AND THERE WAS A DEFAULT NOTICE ON IT.  THEY PHONED ME ON MY WORKS MOBILE AT  09.12 AM.  I AM ON A PREPAYMENT METER, SO THERE IS NO WAY I COULD HAVE DEFAULTED.   ODD!!!!!!!!!!

Asked for Mr (my surname)
I asked for a first name, as there are more than 1 mr (surname) that live here.
They hung up
I was going to call em back and tell them how rude they were.

I've had a call from this number every day for a week or so, just tried ringing it back, dead line tone!

If you google there number, they are trying to sell a package to reclaim your bank fees

A few rings then dead. This has gone on for a few weeks. Very annoying. Suggest everyone complains to Ofcom.

Called my wife's business trying to scam money out of her claiming there was a problem with the payment on the electricity bill.

What I can't understand is how these people still have the number active when people have been complaining to BT about them since at least November last year!!!!

keep phoneing tried phoning back but just engaged tone!!
