Same as HangerPilot, although received by my Gran who doesnt usually give her number out at all so i dont know how they got the number

had a message from these guys saying that they have processed my recent loan application andn to call TODAY before 7pm to opt out :S should i call or is this just a way of getting more money from charging me millions on the phone?

I've had 5 txt messages from this number all with the same message :they have processed my recent loan application andn to call TODAY before 7pm to opt out txt STOP. I've send STOP 5 times.

I keep getting loan application texts.  Each time they're from a different number - but it's all the same company.  I tracked down the company who ask you to contact their support address which I emailed and surprise surprise, the email bounced back.  I'm sick to death of these texts, where's my data protection?  I'm contacting the ICO.

I keep getting these numbers calling and texting me too, getting very annoying!! Another keeps calling now, 01233648477. Looks like they're a similar set up. I've also been getting the USPS emails telling me to call a number to rearrange delivery of a package. Apparently when you ring the number it's several £'s a minute. They actually have a website that looks quite proffessional, don't get sucked in though, it's a scam!! I'm think UPS should take action as it's obviously a play on their corporate name!

Just this morning alone i have received 7 text messages and 13 calls, all from various numbers, this number included, regarding a loan! Really am sick to death of it already.

I've jst spoken to the ICO about this company. And my phone provider. The advice they give you is not to txt stop back because they make money from ur reply txt msgs. The best thing u can do is go on the ICO.gov.uk website in the complaints section. fill out a form with all the details about the company you've got and they'll fine them n close them down.

I am really glad i have search this number as i keep getting text messages saying the same thing so i am going to go on ICO website and report them.  I used the think putting my mobile number on applications used to stop cold calling as they didnt want to pay to call a mobile but with texting now being so cheap - it no longer works.  Its such a shame that even when you say you dont want your details being sold on - it still happens!!!

I have been having these texts from this number for over 4/5 weeks. They call themselves cashpoint or something and the guy who answered was called Jay. I am a pensioner and am fed up with the constant harrassment usually from a different mobile number each time . I have asked to be removed from their list as I do not need nor want money from them. The texts are 10/13 in number on a daily basis and when i initially complained I had silence for around a week now it has started up again. Surely there is something that can be done about these companies and more importantly the people who sell our numbers on. What good is data protection if the very companies we deal with have no integrity.

I've had seven text messages in the last 2 days asking me to phone this number saying I have either been approved for £15k or they have my loan application?! I was in the banking industry as head of lending with HBOS until nine years ago when I got out because I could see the industry going down this particular road! It is nothing but enethical lending. Has the UK Government learnt nothing from what was sparked off in the U.S? How are these people getting our telepone numbers in the first place? Come on ICO get your finger out and be proactive rather than waiting for people like me to contact you!
