- MTKCold call with an auto (pre-recorded) message. Annoyingly keeps ringing.
- Caller: Unknown?
- IgorIt appears to be from PSCA International - whoever they are.
They're selling advertising in a magazine who they say goes out to lots of public sector entities. Anyway, £6K for 2 pages was a bit too much!- Caller: PSCA International
- BenSeriously hard sell, want a decision then and there.
- Caller: PSCA
- SteveThese people have been cold calling us for years they are known by several names including
PCSA International
Criminal Justice Management
Public Service (you would have thought they could do better than that)
They are nasty hard sellers who spend up to 45 mins trying to butter you up and then try to sell you advertising space
I am asking Bt to block their phone no automatically their no is 0161 832 7387 - GW| 4 repliesPSCA International is a legitimate business and 0161 832 7387 is the manchester office number. They are not known as nor do they produce the publication "Criminal Justice Management", that is another company based in Manchester. The web address is www.publicservice.co.uk and therefore also a legitimate name that can be used. If calls are no longer required then simply contact them on 01782 620088 and ask for no further contact.
- RTPersistent sales caller, that will only give name, will not divulge company details or what the call is regarding. Very Annoying and tries evry trick in the book to get through to who they want.
- Caller: PSCA ??
- JodieThis number called me today, spoke to a person called James - would not give company name other than 'Public Service'.
He wanted to talk to one of my directors but couldn't give a name so I asked what it was regarding (could not tell me). Got very agressive on the phone and swore at me! because I wouldn't give him their details.
I offered to get my directors to call him back if he could give me his reason for calling and his number... hung up!
Found his number on my call log and have just google searched it only to come across this.- Caller: Public Service - 'apparently'
- LDHave called no less than 30 times - no details left or nature of call (Have been away on business). You'd have thought one call was enough to prompt a call-back, not 30 voicemail messages. Annoying and irritating, I will be investigating further into the organisation - and speaking to the public sector body we are working with to understand how they got our details, and the manner in which this organisation conduct themselves.
- Caller: PSCA
- JVery aggressive sales tactics, telling us we were making very big mistakes an by not working with them. Wouldn't take no for an answer and she was arguing with a director. They call every week still.
- Caller: PSCA
- PaulUnpleasant and aggressive sales people. Pushy and persistent even when told no. They even pursued other people within my organisation (including our legal department) in order to close a deal.
- Caller: PSCA International
- TomYes PCSA just won't go away.
I've spoken to their supervisors many times about them stopping their calls.
Although they always apologies and have never been aggressive with me, they say all the rights things about them not calling again and in a few weeks they're back.
We even joined the Corporate Telephone Preference Scheme
http://www.tpsonline.org.uk/ctps/what
because of them and yet they still ignore that and keep on coming.
Nowdays we've simply got their numbers recognised and always throw them into voicemail, then just delete it.
This is one of their web pages with the 0161 832 7387 number on it:

- KrisWhat is it with these people!! I was given an email address to so say remove us from their list of victims - all to no avail. Some of the staff are very pleasant but others downright rude. They have been contacting us for over a year now and still persist. Have now registered them with TPS in the hope that this will stop all the harrassment. If they are registered with TPS and still contact you, you can report them and they will be prosecuted, so Tom do it!!
- AnonymousThese people have called both organisations I have worked for over a 10 year period. They use hard sales techniques to bully you into putting them through to decsion makers.
The will not stop calling no mattrer what you do. Do not engage with them in lengthy conversations just keep answers to Yes or NO and hang up. Not even worth the energy. - MadeleineDownright rude sales callers. Don't give them the time of day or waste your time any time on them.
I have registered with TPS in hope they will stop calling!- Caller: Public Service
- adi have worked with this company on several occasions and i say it has made me a big name across public sector and made plenty money for my organisation, so those who are shutting PCSA out without giving them a chance, your making a mistake, thats my views
- FrankVery rude sales person, even insisting she had an important meeting with the head of the defense ministry and the head of the german defense waiting only for us (yeah right). Insisting on talking directly with the CEO even after being told repeatedly he was in a meeting.
What's wrong with this people?- Caller: PSCA International
- SallyWith regard to "ad - 16 June" above, it is quite obvious that the author is a member of staff of PSCA as you seriously DO NOT make "plenty of money" with this organisation as they cannot keep their clients!
This organisation is giving the publishing industry a bad name and unfortunately other publishing companies are being tarnished with the same brush due to their severe and rude selling techniques and they DO demand answers on the day! Answer your phone to them at your peril....... - samvery rude sales people, spoke to them regards to an event, the sales person then has the nerve to say he was putting me on hold which he thought he did and then had someone stood next to him dictating ti him what to say to me. a bunch of lying un-professionals. do not engage with these people, they will only butter you up with facts and figures of public sector and then tell you it costs £15000 to be involved. (thieves)
dont make the mistake- Caller: psca international/pulic service
- C. Hawkins| 1 replyhad a call from someone call fraser!!!!! asked me various questions about my company and my future plans etc. he kept me on the phone for 50+ mins even though i told him i had meetings. i then requested an email at which he replied his servers were down!!!! very very persistant and constantly asking me to make silly decisions with taking a "speaking slot" at an event. would not take no for an answer. i dont know who over looks these people but it needs to be addressed further. i have requested my staff not to take there calls at any expense. PSCA - - - LEARN HOW TO TAKE NO FOR AN ANSWER - - -
- Caller: public service
- Kevin Harrington| 1 replyI'm pleased to join in with this one.
PSCA tactics to sell to us include "16.00 deadline" at 14.00. Really? If we are so important give us your publishing schedule for the next 12 months so we can consider a plan.
The other dubious tactic is to quote the names of senior people from other offices, as though they are being introduced to us.
Strangely our business continues to grow without the help of PSCA. And thankfully our buying process prevents us wasting money.- Caller: PSCA
