They hit me for USD174.87 in March 08, called my bank & they are supposed to be a telephony providor.

It appears to me to be a fraud & I have filled in a complaint with my bank

I just called account service for friend finders (650-847-3149) and cancelled out my monthly subscribing fee- talked to a Tuan who handled everything-Customer service is 650-847-3151 if needed

Just found out my credit card's been hit for £15.68(GBP)in the UK by this friendfndwc on 24th Feb 2008.

Has anyone been able to stop the charges?  My bank said they could stop for this month, but since it is a recurring charge it will show back up next month.  They also told me the amount was too small for them to do anything about.  I realize it is only 12.97 but it has been on there for several months and I do not know where it came from. It is starting to add up.

I see a comment from Johnny stating he just called and cancelled his account.  I have tried, but with no luck.  Since I am in the USA and this number is a GB number it is expensive to keep trying.  Why can this not be done on line?

If it keeps reoccuring I guess the only thing to be done is to cancel your credit/bank card and get a new one

I checked my husband's cc statement and saw a charge from the same number and what looks like a friend finder site........i'm sure you could imagine my dismay.  however i am thankful that this is something that a bank can resolve instead of a marriage counselor.  :0)

i got hit for $33.96 and reported it to my cc company. now I must defend the charge with a DISPUTE report. LOTS OF HASSLE!!! cancel YOUR account(order new card) and do not use it online!!! I have a special card JUST for online. MY advise, use a card you are about to change anyway so you have no re occuring charges!!!

I got hit with a $29.95 charge also and never heard of this site.  I closed my cc account because of this and many other charges from other scammers such as CGbilling.com and Shopperdiscount and ccbill.com all charging me monthly.  I am pissed and could not figure out how to stop the payments.  They can't charge me now though.

Just checking statement and found Friendfndwc myself for 46.93 this is a joke as found futher 3 trans for CCBILLEU.com when rang them they refunded the money but would you beleive it when I tell you it was for adult entertainment X rated type I was shocked but got my money back thank god because it was almost £100

FRIENDFNDWC is Adult Friend Finder (www.adultfriendfinder.com). If you didn't sign up for an account there, then somebody else did with your credit card. Could very well be that somebody stole your credit card number either through phishing or because your computer is not secure and you were hacked. If you have ever signed up for AFF (or any of their other dozens of dating related sites), then they do have a nasty habit of changing your billing preferences to Auto Renew without your knowledge and being automatically billing you for the period of time that you chose to renew the first time for.
