Anyone know who this is? Keep getting missed calls of them and they don't leave a message. When I ring the number, an answer machine comes on saying all operators are busy, and to leave name and number so that they can get back to you.

same as above they call, if you call back they say 'ALL OUR OPERATORS ARE BUSY, PLEASE LEAVE NAME & NUMBER' its a normal std code for Preston in Lancashire but apart from that unknown.

They keep calling me and when i call back its an answer phone asking for me to leave my details ?

I keep getting this number call me on my mobile, never leaves a message, and when you call that number back i get 'All our operators are busy, please leave your name & number and we will get back to you.

DON'T DO IT if you don't know who it is!!

I have had this number call me at least six times TODAY on both mobile and landline!  Have just called them back and got a message saying "message box is full, please leave your name and number" Doh!  Nobody seems to know who they are.

I am also receiving frequent calls from this number, but they only ring once and hang up, so they do not intend speaking to me, just wish to be a nuisance.

Ahhh let me just say this might not be as sinister as it seems.

A few years ago, i was being called by a number, and whenever i answered, the line would go dead - it was really beginning to get on my nerves.....

One day i had had enough, so called my phone provider - cant remember who now, and they did some investigations - It turned out that what was happening was this:

Large marketting companies are sold your details - They have a computerised phone system, that allows them to make lots of telephone calls at once, and the first "customer" that answers is transferred to a telephone operator and given the hard sell.

Luckily the person that was investigating for me, gave me the phone number to the company and a web address where i could go and fill out a form, and the website would, on my behalf, tell 1000's of companies to take me off their postal mailing lists and the phone loop thing.

This worked and for years i havent recieved a call like that. IS this what it could be for you? Maybe this is the reason u cant call the number back - the number is attached to a line, but the line does not take im coming calls, im assuming.

Also, if this number has been sold to a company i'm going to be pretty mad as I always opt out of giving my number to companies! Anyone knows who sells numbers?

I just got a call from  01772688881  and when I called it back, it said operators were busy...and to leave my details...Yeeer right....I don't think so...at least leave a company name on your answermachine!! WHAT A PLANK!!!!

they rang tea time yesterday and the same again today. the only people i know that are in preston are the tax credits offices. i myself have tried to ring back but i get the answer machine too. hope this might help people.

I have just received a call from here but as i didnt recognise the number i didnt answer it.
I was curious to find out where the dialling code was for so googled it & came across this site as well :)

Just had a call from this number, the guy on the phone said I have been miss sold some type of insurance then put the phone down.

did he say what his name was? ive had a few calls but ive stopped answering now!
