Had another call from this number (01782 793400).  The phone only rang twice and then it rang off.  No message left again.

Why is this happening and who is calling me?  This is weird.

The phone rang twice and when dead as i picked up the call. very odd espesh the number 0178???

Called my mobile twice so far, rang for only a short time and no message left.

They called the number I used when enquiring about car insurance online yesterday.

Luckily, I used my 0844 number - so they would have reached the "We trying to connect you with the next available person" announcement I have on there.

They called me twice today & when i answered just hung up - how annoying - did a google on the number and came accross this page... not only me getting calls then!

Just got a phonecall from this number. I picked up as soon as the phone started ringing and it went dead as soon as I answered.

I do have a car insurance with Auto-Direct, so that could be the way they got my number.

I just had a call from this number, sounded like an office in the background, also did an insurance quote yesterday, so maybe something to do with them???

I just got the same as Tonto above.  I used Confused.com yesterday to check out car insurance.. hmm.

Googled this number out of curiosity after getting a missed call and came across this site. I got a home insurance quote yesterday from a comparision site, but didn't sign up for anything. Hmmm, a pattern seems to be emerging...

Im getting  a call every day from them, call this number  01782 793900 and they will remove your name and number from thier auto dialer

This numbers called me twice and left no message

I was looking at Insurance on Compare.com the other day !!!!

I have recieved 12 calls in the last 3 days after using uswitch.com for an insurance quote. They should not be allowed to keep phoning. If you wanted the insurance you would buy it in the first place

I am getting 2-3 calls from this number every day. I have just taken insurance with AIG, who list their address as Prospect House in Stoke on Trent (as per above).

Interestingly, it says their calls may be monitored or recorded at the bottom of the letter...
