Was called by this number today after using confused.com and Tesco insurance yesterday

keeps calling after being on gocompare looking for car insurance no message left

this person keeps ringing, but when i answer they put the phone down

it is getting really annoying
why cant they just leave a message

I put my details on Compare the Market.com looking for buildings and contents this morning (stupidly) and this phone number has now called me 8 times.

I vote we burn them.

Had various calls from this company, no messages leftand no chance of me calling them back!

If someone calls from a dialler and it rings when you pick it up, hang up. It throws their figures and gives more chance of them getting fined by regulators!

Just had a call from this number 01782 793400.
Was looking at contents insurance on uswitch just a couple of hours ago, then this number rings.
Didnt answer as i have caller id!

Luckily I have caller display. Shall not answer this number. Let them keep trying

Ive started receiving calls from this number the last couple of days.  It does frustrate me.  I never answer numbers I dont know and have alwasy said if its important they will leave a message.....how wrong was I!!!!!

just got another call from this number. iv'e been looking for car insurance. not going to get much business if they hang up.they're pain in the ....

I got very short calls from this number, so I dialed 01782 793900 as Gareth said - 15 Feb 2008, I spoke to an operator and she said they would remove my number from their database.

got a quote on confused yesterday, had a feeling this cold calling might start i used to work for an insurance company so the cold calling system will just have your number in their computer and automatically generates calls to you. unless you ask them to remove your numberfrom their system and then they dont always do that competently.

Used confused.com to search for a quote - now had 8 missed calls from their machine. Calling 01782 793900 works. Now call this number whenever I get bored and hang up on them! Feel free to join the fun!!!

Have had a call today from this number, rang off as soon as I answered.  I was on the phone yesterday about my van insurance through AA.  The AA insurance have sent me an email, a text and THREE differing insurance quotes for the same van renewal!!

I keep getting calls from cold callers even though I always say I don't want any contact what can I do!!!

Its Auto Direct.  I had car insurance with them last year, I got my renewal from them (300 quid dearer than I paid them last year!!)  Called them yesterday on their 0800 number to tell them I didnt want to renew the insurance, they said ok then hung up on me!  Since then I've had three missed calls from the 01782 number...

i had a call from this number, but i was a asleep so it didnt bother me, if this number bothers you, simply call barr them. i used auto direct and they are a good company to use in my opinion, i have since changed car insurance to elephant via cofused.com, but auto direct were very useful and helpful.

i had 9 phonecalls from them in the last 2 days but i dont no where they are gettin my information from i havnt been on any insurance site i never give my mobile number out?!? :S

I'm just getting calls now - two this morning.  I did an insurance quote on moneysupermarket.com, and confused.com - and now I'm getting these calls.

Just did some comparisons for my house insurance at lunch today (confused.com , uswitch, moneysupermarket) and have already had one missed call from this number this afternoon.

I ticked all the boxes to say don't contact me etc.....
