this is a debt collection aganecy called equidebt limited, if they call you then they will chase you for money.  They even called my girlfriends mum and dads house!

Yeah it was me who called

They called me, asked me for my surname but wouldn't tell me who they were. Afterwards, they then just hung up the phone! Very rude!

They called and left a message pretended they were a friend trying to get hold of me - their answer phone message pretends they are a domestic residence as well - very unprofessional in their approach and staffed by minimum wage kids.

I live at home with my family. My family does not know anything about my debts. If Equidebt told them why they were calling, i would have got lots of grief from them and would probably get kicked out which would not help my situation.

They phoned asking for someone in my house and would only say it was a personal call from a lady called Clare.

A cocky little woman called asking for me and wasn't telling me where she was calling from and why she is calling. [***]!

Someone from there called me the other day on my mobile phone, and refused to tell me what company they were until I confirmed my address and postcode, so I refused. When they said they were Equidebt, I told them that they have no business calling me, as I had my credit report in front of me and owed nothing to anyone! The lad started to get angry with me saying that they'd write to me again, but didn't like it when I laughed and said that'd be a good trick as they didn't have my address! Surprisingly enough, as I started to say they could "stick their letters where..." they hung up! I've had the same issues with a company called AIC too.

Thought I'd have some fun with this one, as I know I don't owe any money to anyone. returned one of their calls, and the person who answered just said "Hello", no name, no company name. I launched into some vitreol about them calling this number, and denied being me! When they asked my name, I refused on account that they hadn't identified themselves! Told them not to call again....but they did, the next day. Thought I'd listen to them before losing it...they were trying to colelct a debt which was settled some 8 months ago. Told them to sod off, and have now written a proper [***]-o-gram to them. Hopefully I won't hear any more.

Lady called asking me to give her my name and details without confirming who she was and then wouldnt confirm to me her details and the nature of her call after me requesting that she called me and she should confirm who she is.  I them accused them of being a premium rate scam and if they really wanted me they would call me back at their expense but as yet no other follow up call has been made.

Having kept the message on the answer phone my fiance listened to the message and asks me who she is.  Obviously this could have led to a very horrible situation but as she is an understanding woman were ok.

We have had numerous calls from this number, from people called "Alex" "Ben" and " Stuart" sometimes up to 3 times a day.
They wont divulge what it is about and when we ring back they just answer the phone by "Hello"
If they are a proper debt collection company surely they should be bound to tell you who they are debt chasing on behalf of?
I'm so sick of it I'm thinking of going to a solicitor as I know I don't have any outstanding debt!
The number given to return the call was as below, but on dialling 1471 the number was different 01789 473888

watch out for sqn equity house free phone no.0800 258 5670 fax 01789 473797 think this is also the same debt collecting service they have sent a letter saying they need to contact us urgently doesnt say anything else WHAT EVER !!

A lady called and asked to speak to myself which i confirmed she was talkin to me, she told me her 1st name but not second name or company name but expected me to give her my card details over the phone, i told her she has not chance & unless she gives me her company name i will inform my local police station.  She hung up straight away, i found the number belongs to a so called debt agency.

My advise would be to NEVER give ur details out over the phone to these people, or anyone who you do not feel comfortable with, there are so many fake agency's around today it's not worth the risk.

I was contacted by a letter asking to confirm if I was the person they were looking for they also go by SQN in Warwickshire they have a free phone number 0800.  I have passed these details off to my debt managenment team.

I had a call from them today. Caller id 01789473888. They asked for my name but told them I was unavailable. A guy called 'Brian' asked for the person who he was calling for to ring them back on 01789472119, but would not give out any details as to what it was about or his company name. After looking at this I have found out who they are!! Still don't know why they called but will not be ringing them back.

Just this morning got a letter from

0800 number asking if a so and so is the so and so they are looking for concerning an important matter.Well after googling the company name I found this forum,guess now I wont phone them lol.I know who I owe money too and theres no reason for any contact from any of those places.

Bob is a LOSER- who has nothing better to do other than wind up kids who get paid minimum wage. What a [***]!

I found Equidebt to be the best DCA company I have ever dealt with & I have dealt with quite a few! They even gave me a contact number for the Counsumer Cedit Conselling Service, a debt management company who sorted out all the repayment plans to my debts FOR FREE. I make one payment to them and they pay everyone for me. It's easy!
