Who called me?

It's a company called Mobiles 4u

This number has called me regularly this week, never leaving a message.

called me and said they where o2 ?

just rang me - sawansa area code??

3 times in 2 days but no message left

Rang my mobile 3 times last week but left no message, rang the number back and someone picked up then put the number back down, same number rang again this morning .. now i've read this website i'm putting the number on block.

Keeps calling me and leaving no message.when i text back i hear nothing, and on ringing back no one answers.

Why?
My contract isn't due till feb so why ring now??

Called me  , no answer

keeps calling my phone, told them to stop and they carried on.

got a call from this number...when i called back,no answer...

He called telling me he was from O2 and needed to update my phone.

Has been calling me daily for about a week now.  Something about upgrading my mobile, not due for six months!!  Told them to stop calling, but they still do!!

I had this number calling me saying they are from O2 and that my contract is up for a renewal upgrade and I can upgrade before Christmas - so I stupidly went ahead with it and they said it will be £20 a month with a brand new up to date phone and they will cancel my O2 for me.

All good until I had an email from O2 as I asked them a question saying,
When you start a Pay Monthly contract with us, only we can cancel it
after we've received your confirmation to do so. Please be assured that
no one else can cancel your contract.

I've checked our records and found that we didn't call you about
upgrading your contract. For security reasons, we don't call our customers to
upgrade their contracts. This is because when you call us you're sure
that you've provided the details to the right person.

Also I can only up grade in January not before Christmas!  I cancelled my Debit card so they couldn't take anymore money out as they took £29 something out.

When I rang this number back it went dead and number not recognised.  I had another number ringing me again today 07727223975 saying they have taken the money out and the phone is on it's way and then decides to tell me that I would have to pay for the phone itself, would I want to pay all in one or in two parts - I said I cancelled my account and don't want the phone, I'm staying with O2 and he said but it's on it's way and your with 3 now and I said I would send it back but he said there was no address on it to send back and put the phone down on me.  I won't accept it when it comes and will get a recipt off the post man to say I refused it for proof.

My husband says that his work mates has had the same thing a number calling them saying they are from O2.

So I believe this is a scam.

Have been getting calls from this number for the past few weeks, normally Thurs/Fri. I asked one of the callers if they were affiliated with O2? (my provider) and they said "no" but "that all the networks provide them with details of customers that are due for renewal". I too have stated that I'm happy with my current contract and would contact O2 direct if I changed my mind, but they still keep calling.....I might talk to O2 about handing out my contact details to this company.

I have mentioned the details going out to these people and they said "I'm sorry, as I can't answer your question about where these companies
get your contract information from. Unfortunately, we have no control
over these companies".

I've just had another number ring me vurtually the same one as above but with a 9 on the end instead of a 2.

I did have a phone that came this morning but refused it as I really don't trust this company.

This all sounds familiar to me...I've had it too over the last week or so, it seems to happen about every three months or so i get bombarded with calls about mobile contracts, i always tell em to do 1 in the politest possible way
