Had a call from this number - claimed to be iPhonics (?) and started rambling about refunds department - Ministry of Justice and a poll they were approved to do ...all a bit rushed and disconnected for me ..... When I said I was working and not interested in participating in a poll the man got ratty , tried to get me to explain why , and then hung up with a friendly  'whatever'.  Obviously trying to get data - steer clear from these callers and do not agree to any phone polls is my advice !!!

10am, lucky individual in that we'd already been woken up by the council mowers. offered refund on old debts- which neither of us have. the number is TPS. swansea accent, swansea number.

Call from company called Ifonic Solutions refund department. They asked to speak to me (maiden name) I refused to confirm who I was and the make became very rude, talked over me when I tried to ask them to take my details off their system. His ending comment was "I'll call you back in an hour"!!! I spoke to a "manager" called Tom Shoeburn who agreed to listen to the call and take my details off their system. I also told him should I receive another call from them/their number I would report them to the police for harassment.

This number is constantly calling my landline, on average 4-5 times a day. Sometimes hang ups and sometimes askes for the Bill Payer.

Although I have call barring, got a call asking to speak to my wife. Questioned about loans, and on being tol we have never had PPI, they changed tack. Seems they have evidence that we have been overcharged interest on previous loans. Call lasted over 20 minutes, and they were very persistant, but she eventually got their address as Ifonic claims management, St Helens Rd, Swansea plus a different 0845 number to call back. On being advised that she would check with a lawyer, they were quick to ring off.

Please Please can some one stop this number calling me

Called my in laws, duped £990 from my deaf & dementia suffering father in law (85 year old). I would urge that anyone who feels that they have been duped by Ifonics, then please take a moment to tell BBC Watchdog about it. There may be others who have been ripped off by this company and when they have enough complaints they will feature the company.

We have all calls answered by our answer phone which states we do not accept cold calls.

We only pick up if we recognise the caller.

Not one cold caller has left a message in the last year.

a 2 ring missed call from this number.  I'd be dammed if I'm going to ring them back!

We got this call today, answered and we heard laughter. The line went dead after that. Weird.

Had a call from this number 5 minutes ago.  Told me they were fully backed by the government.  It is an important call could give back thousands on Bank & Lenders Refunds.

Just got a call from an over-happy sounding Welshman (If there is such a thing as a happy Welshman) Said he was from Iphonics and regulated by the Ministry of Justice.  I've noticed a lot of companies using the Ministry of Justice angle.  Anyone can pretty much register with the Ministry of Justice it's no big thing and quite a lot who are registered are cold calling companies so don't be fooled by that.  He went off about cretit cards and loans (I've never had a loan in my life, if you can't afford it you don't need it, that's what I believe) I just hung up, I suggest everyone else does the same.  I've stopped being polite and saying, "I'm not interested", a long time ago.  They don't care.  I know times are hard and jobs are scarce but to be a cold caller you've really got to stoop low

Getting more than fed up with spam calls.  This number called this morning, again, couldn't understand her as terrible distortion on her end and so much noise.  I got the bit about credit cards + said not interested, don't call again and put the 'phone down.  This is all really getting too much.  Thinking of getting rid of landline due to all unwanted calls

They called this afternoon. Left no message on the answerphone. Over the last few years I've been forced to vet all cold callers by using my answerphone. Genuine callers leave a message & I pick up the phone. Scumbag cold calling scammers never leave a message. Also it's only on rare occasions (like this one) do they leave a telephone number! A friend of mine has become so fed with cold callers that up he's had his landline removed, & now only uses a mobile phone!

MY gran accepted a call from these people, gave bank details stupidly (as they said they needed them for pre-contractual agreement) & the next day £990.00 was gone out of her bank........... please do not use these people - luckily her bank is managing to sort it but if she hadn't realised it would have been gone!!
