Just got a call from this number (2:41PM CST).  A recording said to push 1, I did not, then it hung up on the other line.  Hmmmm

I received a call from this number and as I answered with my name, caller just hung up.

Got a missed call from this number at 09:16, Beijing time (I'm in China). No way was I going to call it back without checking it out on the web, first. How much would you like to bet it'd run-up a huge 'phone bill if you call it?

Same thing here, five min.s later got another one from 904 7211. I'm a tourist in China too at the moment, so luckily I didn't answer, but checked this page first. Thanks guys for sharing your experiences.

Same here, keep on calling and caller hang up.  It must be a phone company scam to jack up the phone bill.

Don't worry about that. It's a proxy number that MNF(an oz voip provider) uses.

AFAIK, other viop providers will also be shown as this nomber

Fortunitely i looked it up in the internet,others say it's just a fraud. i planned to call back,now i understand. Enjoy your time,guys.

i am in shanghai now with a Danish phone number and have rcv'd 3 calls .. i have not picked up any of them but since i deal with alot of vendors i googled to see if it was someone i should pick up for. so glad i googled i have never heard of something like this on cell numbers

maybe there is some hacking going on, because how there proxy recived my number?
when i arrive at shanghai my contract company was sending me a sms wit the current prices for china, maybe they also recived that sms and my number too!

It's some kind of fraud.If you push the button they tell you to,you would be connected to some so called customer representative and be told that China Telecom abused charging you or your company due to some technical mistake, and they would like to give it back, then, your bank account and some other info about you would be need, and the trick goes on...
I don't know how this could finally lead them to money,but no doubt the whole thing is a fraud. However,you guys don't have to worry about it at all,because they won't pay English speaking service in this, in case you push the button and speak, they would hang up first.

i am in shanghai with polish mobile, six or seven calls so far, started few seconds out of plane, i didn't answer. hope it will end when i return to my home network

As all the rest, UK mobile in Shanghai and said number keeps calling, also had a few variations but all  start in +019385 then 2201, 2211, 2202 probably a scam did not answer or reply to any! Luckily checked here first!

When I try to use VPN from Shenzhen, "Please give your ID-code" -call comes from +0190852202, usually it´s different number. I didn´t give my VPN code, and I called to our IT department but I dind´t get answer yet.

Both me and my girlfriend got calls from this number while visiting China.
