01942738500 obviously a fax trying to be sent to a residential number.  They have no regard for the TPS or the FPS, please stop.

Long ago we subscribed to the Telephone / Fax Preference Service to avoid this.

I have always been ex. directory. However since moving form BT to TalkTalk have had a lot of these unwanted silent calls or fax machine bleeps. Anyone got any tips how to stop them?

I keep getting calls from his number as well.  They are probably trying to send a fax to my freephone number, which is costing me money, and I don't have a fax machine and I don't want spam faxes so please stop

Recieved a call from this number on 7th March 2012, just kept beeping and didn't stop when I humg up

I've just had two calls with bleeps, I've plugged an old fax in , hoping they will call again and I can see who they are, but no further calls coming now!

I am getting calls from this number 01942738500. its a fax number and they will not hang up for ages. Who are they.

Another person getting this fax abuse.  My number is registered with Fax Pref Service, TPS and is ex-directory.

Received a call at 8.03am from this number.  Would love to know who owns the number so I could phone them up and give them a piece of my mind.  The companies responsible for these calls should be fined, it's a huge invasion of privacy.

I keep getting phone calls from this Fax number, I have often been in bed when this number rings and have to run down the staires to answer. My phone number is exdirectory so I  don't like missing calls in case it's family or friends. It's about time something was done to stop these calls they are a real pain ; (

Sentineldebt is a debt recovery service continually sending out `cold` fax touting for business. Call them on 0800 055 6228 at their expense as often as you can and ask them to remove your number from their data base.please spread the word

Just googled the number that rang me, I don't answer the phone unless I know who's calling, I 1471 any unknown calls and this is what came back. I wouldn't mind but im on the MPS, the TPS and the FPS and I still get called about 3-4 times a day half the time from a bleeding fax machine and I don't even have 1, as I said ive taken to telling people who I actually want to hear from ring my mobile or text me first!

I am fortunate enough to have a fax machine so was able to identify them. Sentinel Debt, 0800 055 6228. Their CLI is a forgery, it's a Wigan number that doesn't exist.

Had a long chat with them at their expense. They claim they check everything against TPS and FPS and if they called me then my number can't possibly be listed with either (a lie!)
