Call 01952 602280 all day long. Thay bug me I bug them.

Answered but they hung up.....

Said it was a mobile upgrade, my phone is exdirectory and a new number. They had my daughters name and asked for her

Idrive past this company's headquarter about once a week they called me twice in 5 mins rang em back and told them to take my number off their system or I would come down there and do it myself they are only 5 mins away from me lol.

In response to 'GD'(page 6) - they're an Orange Business partner and as such are authorised to upgrade Orange customers who are on an Orange business tariff. If the person is on a consumer tariff I.e. Dolphin, Racoon etc then they are also authorised to advise them on a more suited business tariff and get them swapped over and subsequently upgraded.

Geko are also Ofcom regulated and actually get Orange a shed load of business. The customers are billed by Orange, customers pays Orange I.e deal with the network direct. Why get pissed off if someone calls up to analyse what you're spending - give you advice on a better plan and to check you're upgrade date - you keep with Orange - it's impartial advice with no obligation - get your facts straight before making accusations! If you called 150 (orange customer servive) they wouldn't know who the hell Geko are because they are consumer customer services - call 345 and speak to business support. As for being called in the states - since when were computers or people for that matter psychic???

RE:- PAGE 6 Noneoftheabove - Yes that's a newspaper article about the new office purchased in Stoke a few months ago. There are 3 other offices across the UK.

These guys are cold calling offering business mobile phones.

Yes I've had the same, several times, each time I check 1471, a phone call in computer generated and no one answers the phone, on the other end if you ring back is a poor quality answer message, hold on someone comes on the phone ............. I advised I do not want time wasted each time they ring.
Turns out to be a mobile phone company called Geko ,,,,,,

this number has called me nearly every day for the last 2 weeks.  I did try to return call but no answer and after I put the phone down they left me hanging on for approx 3 mins...at my expense!!

Called me late on Friday when I was out. Left no message. What a bunch of ****.

I work nights and get this phone call every day around 0900hrs, Its a company called Gecko Direct, they have the records of all mobile phone account holders and now when your renewal is due, I only know this because I rang them back and told them to remove me from their inaccurate database.

Hopefully no more phone calls. so far so good.

Getting several "missed calls" a day from this number at the moment - very annoying, should they every be there I shall string them along suitably then NOT buy!

None of the Above - they moved from the office in Newcastle about 4 1/2 - 5 months ago. Now in a new office next door to Michelin - Cambell Road in Stoke - the other 3 offices are still in the same location Hope this helps :o)

After recieving a number of the calls that so many other people have also recieved (constant hanging up on answer) but on my work landline, I called, asked to speak with the manager, asked him if he would be interested in some Green IT solutions, when his obvious response of "no thank you, not interested" arrived I responded with "if that's the case then stop calling", I have now been removed from their database and will hopefully never get another "mystery" phone call from these automated idiots..

Rant over, call them back, try to sell them something when they don't go for it request to be removed! Perfect..

They called today - April 1st 2009, hung up on answering.

They won't be ringing again as their number is now blocked on my phone - I advise you all do the same.

I don't even have a contract phone and these cretins harass me constantly, I am considering taking legal action to recover my losses which are incurred in dealing with these scumbags.

I got them and as everyone one else they hung up, however when they did call before i spoke to them told them i wantd five phones 1000 mins each 500 txts each internet connections ear pieces etc. kept them on for about twenty mins and then when it came to confirm i told them to call me back in 18 months when my contract was due for renewal. they where furious but i said well now you know what its like to have time wasted stop calling me ha ha ha.

Must get a  call every other day from these idiots, never any one, just silence.

Cant these get shut down!

They are also using 01952602281 now as well, why would you wind up business customers by plaguing them with silent calls or quick hookups.
I am always looking for a good deal especially in this economic climate but as a matter of principle I would not deal with a comms firm who seem to have no subtlety in their own use of comms equipment.
