Calls at early hours of the morning. Engaged signal when called back.

Got 2 calls in the middle of the night when answered they said I have a verbal text for you and then started an advert - I hung up

Just logged on to check my missed calls and this number called me seven times on new years day, from 8am through to 11am. ( i was away luckily)
Does anyone know who they are?

This is the number that show up when a text message is sent from a mobile to a landline. Telstra converts the text to voice.

i gotta prank call at about 8:15pm...then at 8:25pm i get another call saying i have a verbal txt? i dnt get it?

So why are they texting me?

I refuse to answer it, it has rung at least 10 times tonight. I have rung back but get a computer?? I guess I am just going to have to answer it next time and listen to this bloody annoying text message.

OMG. To my surprise when i googled this number, this page came up! I was hounded yesterday btw 7-10 times until midnight last night. I never answered it bc a msge never got left with any of the calls so I just thought... "overseas marketing". When I rang back..."the number you have called not connected, please try again.." blah blah   ...at least now I know I didnt miss my winning Tattslotto phonecall by not picking up..phew!!

Well, I've been getting these annoying calls too. COme on, it's night time, my kids are asleep and the calls won't stop! How can telstra let this happen? Has anyone complained directly to tesltra? I will tomorrow morning, see what they say! That's an abuse!

I'm getting it too and have picked it up three times, heard nothing and hung up. It keeps ringing me!

the call was to a nominated person at 9.42pm  (text)on home phone It was too fast to retreive a call back number.never heard of mobile to home phone text .

2 calls on same day, saying there were 4 text messages, then a voice said "Dear God" before I hung up.

got several calls from this number. It is a chain voice message and Said "if you pass this on to 10 other people absolutely fu..ing nothing will happen"
Very funny (not) and very stupid.

When you call back it is engaged.
I have had previous calls from another number (an overseas marketing company) and eventually found them and got my number taken off. I wonder if this is their revenge?

I just got a call from this number asking me if i was moving.

I hate this stupid service when my idiot friends text my landline phone instead of my mobile.

. . . . I have a verbal text for you and then started an advert. First call after 11pm last night.  Now every 15 minutes or so . . . how do we stop unwanted calls.  Is there a way Telstra can come up with number blocking for calls received?

OK. . . the calls are every 15 minutes or so.  The talking text message says it is from 0427-642745. Came up with a solution.  Stored the 019 number and gave it a "no ring" ring tone.  Now I can't hear it, so don't answer phone!

Telstra told me it was them.  Talking text message.  If you only get one ring and no message your home phone is not compatible with the service.  Ring faults on 132203 and they will disable it.  Ring 0198339999 to hear the message and delete it.  That should fix the issue.  Good Luck

Pretty much the same thing, started last night about 9 p.m. ringing every hour or so, pick up the phone and the line is dead, so now I just dont answer it. You can tell when its this number because the phone rings ONCE, then resumes a two ring dial up,  ends halfway through the tenth ring.  No help from Telecom, they are on holiday.   Koops
