This Number keeps calling us to.  Ofcom suggest registering your number here http://www.mpsonline.org.uk/tps/ which after 28 days after you have registered makes it illegal for ANY company to ring you with unsolicited marketing or sales calls.  If they do you can report them and they can be prosecuted. The registration is totally FREE!!

It won't stop your bank or insurance company from checking up on you though, but if they're your bank or insurance company then I guess you chose them for a reason and many of us won't mind the occasional courtesy call, after all they do look after stuff for us.

Sorry, me again! (guy from last post) didnt realise there were nearly 20 pages of complaints about this number and that the TPS route has already been explored.  What i dont get is how does the company ring from India with what looks like a London UK phone number?  I realise London UK is 0207... or 0208... so i have done a little research, it seem that companies like this one http://www.numberstore.com/0203-numbers-order.asp are responsible for selling 0203 numbers, and advertising them as "London Area Codes" a bit of a lie if you ask me, and maybe something can be done at this point to stop Overseas investors from using UK numbers, and perhaps Ofcom should Police those ones to?  More than one way to skin a cat i say!

Spoke to Asian chap who said he was from the Government had all my details I have reported them to the police and the Trading Standard commission. I believe they are in India and do not come under our policing umbrella.

Was in the middle of painting my daughters room and the phone wentgot to the botto of the stairs and it stopped did the whole 1471 and it was this number went upstairs and low and behold it rang again same number no one there in the end after another 6 calls within 20 minutes i left the phone onthey eventually got the message and hung up and havent caled again - til tomorrow!

This number 02030043198 has been calling everyday for a week sometimes twice or three times.  I don't answer numbers I don't recognise and the house number only available to a few people. Its start to really get on my last nerves!!

Had a call this afternoon, which my partner answered.  He told me the were offering debt advice and said they'd call back later.  I have just received another call from the same number, but it sounded like an automated dialing service (no answer for few seconds then someone says hello), so I hung up!

Not sure if that's the end of it (from what I've read it won't be I'm sure)!  But gives my some sense of satisfaction!

WHY DO I COUNTINUOUSLY GET CALLS FROM THESE MUPPETS?  I ALSO SAY NO TO TELEMARKETING, ANY INFO FROM COMPANIES, AM REGISTERED WITH THE TPS AND HAVE A PRIVATE NUMBER!!! THE BEST WAY TO ANNOY THEMIS TO SAY I'LL JUST POP YOU ON HOLD AND THEN LEAVE THE PHONE.....ITS A GAME OF CHICKEN...LET THEM WASTE THEIR OWN TIME NOT YOURS!! :-)

This number (02030 043198) called last night and again this morning. Some Indian man, unable to pronounce a very common English name.  He assumed I was the wife of the named person (that's very annoying when they assume you are a "Mrs" of somebody).

Both times I just said "No such person" and hung up.

It was the last tenant's name he was asking for. The last tenant left here over a year ago and I think he had debt problems.

I have Aspergers Syndrome and an unexpected call like this instantly raises my heart beat and I can't "settle" from receiving the unexpected call for at least two hours.  It causes me anxiety, which is wrong for an unsolicited call. B4st4rds.

This number called at around 1230 today.  I didn't answer, but if it calls again I shall adopt my dad's method: say, "That sounds interesting.  Wait a moment while I consult my wife/husband," and walk off and leave them to it.

apparantly this is a dept management company, a very pushy indian bloke!!! has called 6 times today, i work at home so highly annoying!! have pulled plug on phone, i am registered with TPS, how can i stop them calling??

Just had three calls in the last hour, and getting might tetchy about it!  First asking for my partner, but refused to give me any details of the company other than being from some debt consolidation thing or some such.  I told him to remove us from the calling list, and when he continued to press on I hung up.  Second one hung up after I'd answered.  The last one just now was just silence on answering.  All the same number.  I feel for the people having to make the calls, wouldn't want their job, but good grief - it is so INFURIATING to receive the calls!  Ever since we made some finance enquiries we've been bombarded with similar calls, one claiming to be calling from a government agency, all Indian call centres...  I love the suggestions of putting them on hold though, that'll be my next move  ;-)

Lowlife scum these people have being phoning my number for some time now.What the hell are ofcom doing theirs enough complaints on this site alone. Bombard BT with complaints about this number if you can speak to anyone that is,and perhaps something may get done.Or all go to page three this site and all write to the address the guy has found for this number.They have not taken my number off their list and i have told them to.So i am doing what the guy says on page three next and writing a legal jargon letter,as what they are doing is illegal from 2003 if you are on the tps register.

call phoned several times and hung up  no answer

Just had 3 calls in the last hour.  I answer the phone and they hang up - just registered with TPS and raised nuisance calls with Ofcom.

Just had 2 calls from this number in an hour, both times hung up when answered. I've read a few of these commments now dreading that i will be bombarded?!

Keeps Ringing Me Sometimes Up To Ten Times A Day. Starting To Really **** Me Of. Phone Rings I Pick Up Hear A Little Noise For A Couple Of Seconds Then Phone Goes Dead. I Rang Me Service Provider Up And They Is Nothing They Can Do Which To A Customer Is A Waste Of Time. I Also Rang Some Over Services Ofcom

These people have called over the last few days, but I have tried to explain that our phone no. is barred from cold calling and they hang up. I would not say that the call originates from GB but from somewhere in India.Why do I have to submit a validation code? Big brother watching?

Looking on BT website you can pay £3.25 a month and you can block specific telephone numbers.  May consider doing this if these a$$holes keep being persistent.

A so called company who call themselves 'Money Management' which I find highly offensive. Always Indian, 7 phone calls in one day. Told them I was with TPS and they are harassing us and will call the police if they ring again. Funny they've not rung back!
