be aware of this company cheap fast loans i have paid a brokers fee of £69 and have hassel ever since requested a loan for £15,000 couldnt believe the apr rate of 6.8 and the payment of £295 which would have halfed my financial out goings and made me better off each month. then i got asked to pay the monthly installment up front so i could prove to their company that i could afford their monthly repayments because i argued that this wasnt usual protocol with regard to loan agreements she hung up.
the usual saying springs to mind

IF IT SEEMS TO GOOD TO BE TRUE
    IT USUALLY ISNT TRUE !!!
    BE AWARE

Action Fraud Advice replies to Michael k
Action Fraud have the following advice on loan scam fees:

    1) http://www.actionfraud.org.uk/node/240

Loan scams happen when a victim is asked to pay an upfront fee for a loan.

A person will typically reply to an advert for a fast loan and will have their application approved regardless of their credit history. Before they receive the loan, they are told them must pay an upfront fee to cover insurance for the loan.

Once this fee is paid, the victim does not hear from the company again and the loan is never received.
Loan scams are a type of advance fee fraud.

Fraud has been committed when money has been lost.

If fraud has been committed, report it to Action Fraud.

People in debt conned out of cash in fake loan scam
National charity Citizens Advice is warning people to beware of companies offering fake loans for a fee. The companies often prey on people who are already in debt and desperate for a way out.
    Advice
Citizens Advice top tips on fake loans:
    • Never pay money up front
    • Never give out bank account details to cold callers
    • Be very wary of cold calls offering loans, and internet sites offering quick and easy credit
    • If it looks too good to be true it usually is
    • If you need credit, shop around, use a trusted source and always check the paperwork
    • If you’ve already paid money up front for a non-existent loan, inform Trading Standards (www.tradingstandards.gov.uk). The Consumer Credit Act says that all but £5 of any brokerage fees should be refunded if no loan is taken up within 6 months.

Again, an Indian calling himself Keith and giving the address as 11 Edgware Road, London SW4 6EH
Anyone who knows London will know that Edgware Road is nowhere near SW4.  So this is obviously fake.
He wanted to 'fix' my computer for a fee and claimed to be a Microsoft Solution Centre.  Microsoft do not outsource such things and do not phone you to fix your computer.
    It's a scam.

My elderly friend is receiving repeated calls from this number, including caller Alex yesterday, saying he has a fault with this PC/Internet and needs to pay £149.00 per year for them to resolve such PC problems.  I recommended, not to respond and leave the caller hanging on, saying you are looking for something, until they hang up on the phone.
