this number is calling my mobile ...

Called but not recognized so did not answer - I only answer calls that I recognize! It is an 0203 number which is an Internet based VOIP number, untraceable and could be from anywhere in the world.

0203 is not solely an internet VOIP prefix, it's my very normal landline number in London. BT ran out of 0208's and 0207's years ago and started using this - I've had mine for over 6 years. So don't assume it's a rogue sales call, it could be your friend!

defo someone trying to sell something, I tried several times to phone back and get an odd sound then disconnects...

This call has rung before, so very warily i answered this time. Someone called Alex from W Commodites London (which i can't find anywhere online) .Barely acknowledged the call and he went straight into sales pitch, very familiar quoting my name and address, asking if this was still correct so he could forward some commodity info (almost as if i was expecting it), my first response was to ask where he'd got my number and he immediately hung up.......bit worrying as i'm very careful who i give any details to...money scam comes to mind!

I was called by this number on 15 6 2012 the caller said his company was about to send some information to me and wished to check my address. I believe that this is a backdoor method of obtaining my consent to being badgered by them.

He said he was from WC London, not an easy thing to hunt with Google, he said they were Commodity Brokers.

Just had my third call in three weeks from them.  I only answered the first time - I'm an IT contractor they could have been a pimp with a job for me.  The bloke was thrown when I asked where they got my details from and couldn't get back on script - I hung up.

Yes I have had these as well.  They a scamming / boilerhouse sales operation. Crooks through and through.
Don't have anything to do them. Just hang up.

had a call today, no message, i tried the number and it beeps..dodgy.

I have had loads of calls from this number. Mainly I ignore it, but I have tried to call back and get disconnected, and so far it has disconnected every time I have picked up. I am getting very tired of it, and will be reporting to OFTEL as we are TPS registered. I also recommend reporting them to Action Fraud, if none of the company names they are using can be found online, and they hang up when you ask a question.

Someone called josh who said he was calling from net shares. Very pushy didnt take 'im not interested' as a hint to end the call.

This came from London. The caller left a voicemail (901) which gave 'Complaint Handling Services' 01619275053

Trying to ensure the address for postal of "updated documentation" was correct.

He knew my first name, but didn't tell him anything else, and he became very nervous and close call down in a rude fashion when I began asking him questions about where he had obtained my number/details from.

Be careful with this one.

Call from this number as well to my mobile. Was completely inaudible so hung up - but thanks for the warnings above. Will be adding it to my barred list.

got a call from 02033553805 and answered but it was silent tried to call them back on land line and permenantly engaged

Boiler room scam, impossible to get off their call list, have asked them 4 times now and they keep calling.  Just hang up, TPS appear to be pretty toothless here.

had another suspicious phone call from this number, said they were a firm of solicitors and would not leave there name and number,so simply 1471 the phone and found this number was calling me

Called my mobile twice now. 8th October & 22nd November. I seem to remember the first call where I told  the caller where to go and hung up, Today's call - silence.
