Called me at work on my work number. Very rude.

Sub set of capital markets - OBVIOUSLY called something else (another investment house), trying to take away you usual money.

yeah rings through & no one answers

Yep - just called me too.

'Green Investments' something or other.

Lied about speaking with me last year.
Lied about how he got my number (while I didn't even ask how he got my number).

Using typical sales techniques.

Was very rude.. "...just answer me this, why did you ask me to call you back if you are not interested?..." along with other stupid lines.

Then hung up on me.

I got the same phone call from Green Investments and I don't recall ever contacting them :(

They rang me but rang off before my husband could work out how to answer the call on my phone!  Just checked the net to find out who they were.

They keep ringing me as well.

Another number has also tried to ring, me but is coming up as "Private Number"

I just got phoned by them too, I didn't say anything when I answered as I could hear it was a call center. They just hung up on me!     I Googled the number and found out who they are.

Someone called Green Planet Investment or something like that called trying to get me to invest in Brazil
Wanted to know how much money I had.
Did not even tell me who they we're or what they did. Unbelievable !
Right drip of a bloke on other end of phone.
Was a little put out when told I was not interested.
Where the hell do they get my mobile number from ??
Totally unsolicited call.
How unprofessional - got to be a scam of some sort - they should be reported and closed down before people lose their money.

An agent rang me from a mobile phone number and immediately launched into a breathless and badly scripted pitch.  Unsatisfactory answer when I stopped the agent and asked where he got my details, I quickly ended the call saying that I wasn't interested and wouldn't invest with anyone that rang me from a mobile.  He then phoned back immediately from 02034117501 and tried to continue.  Told him to do one and not to call me again, he sounded like a right moron and nothing like an investment professional.

All the hallmarks of classic boiler room scam (Ashamed to say I worked in one for 2 months many years ago and left due to the sheer immorality I experienced),

I recommend to avoid entering into any type of conversation with so-called investment companies who contact you in this manner, or showing any interest in what they talk about, or you are very likely to lose a great deal of your hard earned money.  Im not talking about a few hundred quid either, I mean tens to hundreds of thousands here, from decent hard working people.

Have received a brochure from them.   Have also received some telephone calls, with the salesman
repeated calling me Stan.   Will be interested when I say not interested in their investment.  Will let you
know if their attitude changes.

Same story, called from a private number, full of contradictions then turned rude.  I even offered to invest in a few months when they hung up. then called from a london number but didn't speak, just shouted abuse about clients in the background.

My advice... Stay away

Oulti hunt it hard or other rang me today, asked if i had a savings account and if i would give him my money for investings into the brazil nut. He said it was emerging and driving the economy forward and that my nut would appreciate in value of 35% in the next year.
I WAS VERY VERY BLUNT, and told him that i was very interested and couldn't wait to give him my money and come on board.
He then told me that he would LOVE and thoroughly Enjoy me [***] on his board.
He also mentioned something about bricks and water investments.
SOUNDS GREAT!!!!

Just been called by a posh sounding guy who tried to get me into a discussion about investing in Brazil.  He said he was calling from Green Planet Investments, based in Soho Sq. London.
He used my full name which is what is on the Register of Electors and other lists but has never been used by family, fiends or business colleagues since I was in infant's school.  It's always a bad sign when the caller uses the full name!
I asked him if they adhered to the Telephone Preference Service (TPS) rules, he said they did which is odd since I have registered as not wanting cold calls.  I then asked him if they were authorised by  the Financial Services Authority (FSA).  He said they were.
Quite strange when their own website says that they are NOT FSA authorised!
I feel they may be crooks but their rep. is certainly a liar!

I told him very firmly to get off my 'phone.

THEY TOLD ME THAT THEY ONLY CHARGE 3% COMMISSION, WHICH I FOUND OUT TO BE FALSE.IN FACT ITS MORE LIKE 40%, WHICH CLEARLY SHOWS YOU WOULD BE GETTING BENT OVER AND RAPED ON ANY PRODUCTS YOU BUY.
DONT THROW YOUR MONEY TO THESE CROOKS, YOU WILL NEVER SEE ANY RETURNS, UNLESS THEY THINK THEY CAN GET MORE MONEY OUT OF YOU DOWN THE LINE, THEN THEY OPERATE LIKE A PONZI SCHEME.
THESE PEOPLE THRIVE ON BUILDING RELATIONSHIPS WITH THEIR SO CALLED VALUED CLIENTS.
NEVER GIVE THEM ANY OF YOUR MONEY.

NOW THE BEST WAY TO DEAL WITH THEM IS GIVE THEM A TASTE OF THEIR OWN MEDICINE. PLAY ALONG WITH THERE SCHEME, ACT INTERESTED, ACT FRIENDLY,WASTE THEIR TIME AND WHEN THE DO ASK YOU FOR YOUR CREDIT CARD DETAILS(AND TRUST ME THEY WILL) TELL THEM TO DO ONE AND THAT YOU WERE NEVER INTERESED(OR WHATEVER WILL AMUSE YOU PERSONALLY)
