Agree Waltham. I have been a victim of UK Engine supplies. 02034440091 and the mobile 07550208913 are no longer in use. BEWARE

This number has been recently used by UK Engine Supplies  / UK Engine Centre who are scammers. They take your money and deliver nothing. I too have been a victim to the tune of £900. Beware. The replacement / reconditioned engine business is fraught with danger. Never ever pay by any means other than a credit card. If the company  doesn't take them don't buy from them.

I was a victim of these scammers back in December £925. The guy who runs this outfit is Ali Cakirgoz of 11 Haywood Court, Waltham Abbey, EN9 3DP. He drives a burgundy discovery. GT06 HXT. Wife's name Vera (Facebook) please report this to action fraud and yours and his bank, they are building a profile for this. If anyone has more info please reply

Just been conned by this group 'ukenginemedics'  they are now calling themselves with a contact name off Robert Taylor. They have three numbers two of which are not used but he's still using one...02034440109 (not used) 07550676829 (not used) 02034440137 this one he will answer  for now he must be getting away with 100s of thousands

I'm sorry to here that you also have been conned by this a hole. Action fraud or trading standards don't seem to be doing anything but you must inform them so at least they are aware of this continuing fraud. Please also report to your bank. Best we can all do at the moment. May be we should get together and deal with it ourselves.

Might also be worth everyone reporting to "Watchdog". They have done a few items on this type of company.  This may well ne one of those companies using another name.

I have been wondering whether it's worth filing a a money claim online (small claims court)?It costs £60 to get it dealt with in court. While there would be no guarantee of getting any money back, it may help flush the suspect out to see if he has any assets which we can file our claims against. If a number of victims did it in parallel it might carry greater weight, though the small claims court don't deal with class actions.  Any thoughts?

I also think that reporting it to Watchdog is a good idea and can certainly do no harm.

I will also report it to watchdog, I don't think you will get anywhere taking it to court as there's no real proof of this guys true identity.

Can I ask how you guys found this guy in the first place, as I believe he is getting information from 1st choice engine spares, I have informed them and they need more evidence such as reference numbers

I got an email from the UK Engine Centre offering quotes for reconditioned / replacement engines. However , I completed several online query forms and can't be certain now that these included either UK Engine Centre or 1st Choice Engine Spares. I did get a quote from another company about what seemed to be the same engine (from mileage etc) which might also suggest that suspect is being  fed information from sources at breakers  yards etc.

I am one of the people who have been Scam for £925.oo by Uk Engines. IF  anybody is wiling to form a group to hunt these Men down I am willing to join them. At 74 I cannot afford to loose this type of money.
