Just been conned by this group 'ukenginemedics'  they are calling themselves. They have three numbers...02034440109, 07550676829, 02034440137 they must be getting away with 100s of thousands

Yeah I've just been conned as well for a engine.

They have conned me out of £1000 for a engine!

Yep same as me £1250 I've been to trade trading standards and police I'll keep everyone informed

Last month I was also the victim of this long running engine fraud (£900). Unfortunately, the fraudster is continuing
to operate and is sometimes making contact with victims after they have submitted engine requests through agency websites
such as 247 Spares( www.247spares.co.uk),  1st Choice Spares UK Ltd ( https://www.1stchoice.co.uk/ ), among perhaps others.
If you have have been appraoched by the fraudster after going through any of these sites, and haven't already done it, I
recommend that you make a strong complaint to them.

Yes we have also be conned £1100. This time by a guy called Robert Taylor.  Contact trading standards and also Action Fraud.  The more that report it to trading standards  the higher the chance of them doing anything.

Yes Peter ,the bank account has now been closed the police and banks don't care and there's no victim support were all just faceless victims of someone raking 100s of thousands in

I reported this to Barclays on the 8th of Feb to which I was told the account had been frozen due to fraudulent activity.
I've just received to email from Barclays saying I won't get my money back ad account wasn't frozen at the time I reported it.
Now to all those who purchased after this date your money legally should be returned, I spoke to Barclays fraud who told me to account was frozen with was  the first time I contacted them so if this guy had been doing this since December of last year surely I wasn't the first person. To report it.
I'm now going to tbe contacting the banking ombudsmen to report Barclays for malpractice, any everyone do the same as what they are doing is illegal according to my solicitor.
If we all do it together as a group Barclays will have to pay us back.
We all need to really push this and I'm going to the press in a moment to report Barclays and what they are doing.

We have had a letter from Barclays stating that we are to get our money back. We reported it on the 22nd February to trading standards/Action fraud and Barclays.  Worryingly the website www.ukenginemedics.co.uk is still live.

Hi I also lost £1000 to UK Engine Centre....a Mr. Jonathan Evans (or so called was who I dealt with).
I paid the money to a Natwest account and like you they didnt want to know.This was back on the 7th February 2016...again account was frozen within 24hours..but they allowed someone to walk into two of there branches an hour apart and withdraw the money in cash. Natwest tell me to except the loss  and put a closure on it....furious with them....
