is some charity, calling to ask for money.

I think it might be a charity.  I was cornered by unicef the other day, nice enough, wanted to find out more about it and stuff.  They did say they would give a courtesy call, although i said evening.  Literally just had the phone call.

i just got a call from this number but did not answer it, as i missed it. so before i called back because it was a strange number i checked it out on google and did not find much !!! but i can tell you that it is a charity but did not say which one.

Just got a call from this number- picked up and heard the ending of a sentence "fulham 111...." hung up. Assuming its a charity...

Have had 2 calls from this number in the space of 5 mins today 17/8/10.

No-one answers.

I've had repeated calls from this number, I have not answered.

I haven't signed up to any charities lately either.  Although I did donate to Scope a while back but had to cancel the direct debit.

Could also be friends of the earth - I get emails from them.

But as I say, I haven't answered so don't know.  Bloomin' annoying though!

It's from Scope as they have called me several times, always when I'm driving or in a meeting

Mine is CentrePoint wanting higher donations.  Been phoning every day at 3.50pm for the past 2 weeks.

I am getting called several times a day from this number,I put a bar on these kind of calls!
I don't answer my phone anymore,I check who it is first and ring back.
Its the same in the high street,you run the gauntlet,
Its a flaming nuisance,I give what I can.

Two calls today again,I guess I will have to answer and tell them not to call again!

The Centre Point Charity seems to be the link - As I donate £12 a month and I'm not so sure that has been a good idea.  Think i'll cancel the DD and make anonymous contributions instead.  Getting calls almost daily from this number

Got a call from them at 6pm today on the landline.
It's a 3rd party call centre calling on behalf of St.Johns Ambulance,
wanting to get a direct debit donation.
Seemed pleasant enough in his mannerism.
I didn't subscribe however.

I just recieved a call from this number, (4.30pm). Didn't recognise the number so didn't answer. They left no message. My husband and I donate to a number of charities by DD but, as is standard practice for us, didn't tick any boxes saying that it was ok to contact us by 'phone.

I donated towards a mosquito net the other day on the high street and am assuming I've missed a follow-up call. I presume it's a generic automated message that all charities use.
I will need to pick up next time and politely tell them I'm not interested as I donate as and when I can.

Mine are from a homeless shelter charity that i donate to. if it carries on i will be cancelling donations to stop the calls...

i have had 2 calls.  Missed both but rang back and says a call back from a charity.  It says that someone will get back to you in due course.  If you don't want to be contacted again you have to ring 02076197888 and leave name and number you were called on, referencing what ever they say.

i am not calling as i do not trust this.  How they got hold of my mobile number in the first place i do not know.

have received three calls from this number. no answer. no message left!
