- Jeff| 1 replyReceived a call from ( talbotassetmanagement ) wanting to sell assets bought through (capital alternatives ) the FCA has court procedures on going with capital alternatives and several other firms.
- Caller: talbot asset management
- John SThis is the number provided by post for a company calling themselves Talbot Asset Management in relation to selling art I had (like another who has posted here, Steven) purchased through London Art Company which seems to have gone into liquidation. The information they sent seems to amalgamate a property management firm (Talbot Management Company Limited, based near Gloucester, company number 05816188) with a now liquidated asset management firm (Talbot Asset Management Limited, Company number 07704660). The website also plagiarises from a US firm rwbaird.com claiming billions of assets in the US and a 95 year history.
- Caller: Talbot Asset Management
- Call type: Telemarketer
- David KellyCalled himself Peter Thompson. Very persuasive until he got the part where he needed money up front - ALARM BELLS.
Kept ringing every 5 minutes after that but I didn't answer. This website confirmed my suspicions. How can these people live with themselves?- Caller: Talbot Assest Management
- George HenryThey are contacting investors in Bull Markets Solutions Ltd saying that BMS Ltd is in liquidation and they can get all moneys refunded if cash is forwarded to them to pay USA income. TAX. Caller is James Wilson. Other "companies" are doing the same, looking money up front. Note Printout of Talbot Management Co Ltd (from internet), attached to their paperwork.
- Caller: Talbot Asset Management
- CMW| 2 repliesI think I may have been scammed who do I need to report it to?
- Caller: Talbot assett management
- Call type: Telemarketer
- Adrian DavisIn relation to Bull Markets, following earlier an telephone call from this number I now have a confirmatory "offer"letter on headed paper from Talbot Asset Management signed by Danielle Richardson (Head of Admin) accompanied by an Underwritten Guarantee signed by Paul Anthony Egerton - Director.
Quite sure it is a scam. Thinking of reporting it to the Cit of London Police - Action Fraud Program. - Rob Baker| 1 replyNot sure if it is the same number as it was withheld, but had a call today from "The London Arbitration Service" saying they were willing to act on my behalf re a failed overseas property purchase which went sour about 7/8 years ago. The Liquidation of the company in question (Aston Lloyd International Ltd) is currently being dealt with by Ideal Solutions who's name they quoted in their speel. When i queried how much their services cost he said he hadn't mentioned cost, at which point I replied "not yet" and he promptly told me to "Fu%& Off" and hung up the phone. Fair chance its a scam then!!!!!
- Caller: The London Arbitration Servcie
- BDVI've got many calls from this number, alias Mr Philip Matthews was on the phone in relation to the possibility to retrieve binary options invested funds with Bull-Markets for an upfront fee payment. I've got a letter including an offer and invoice as well on a headed paper from Talbot Asset Management signed by Danielle Richardson (Head of Admin) accompanied by an Underwritten Guarantee signed by Paul Anthony Egerton - Director.
It is a scam. I've reported them to the Action Fraud online. - Alan replies to Rob BakerI had a call today from this company regarding land i purchased with Aston Lloyd. Not sure if this is s scam!
- bruce nCalls and emails from Peter Thompson, apparently finding buyer for art.Purports to act for Talbot Asset Management but confused it with Talbot Management Co Ltd. Requesting upfront ' refundable deposit' referred to as Capital Exchange fee. Co House search show both companies as likely fronts. TAM in liquidation and TM with net assets of £2,061 as at 31/3/2016, TM accounts in 2007 same fixed asset at £2,000. Steer clear is my recommendation as they are persuasive and 'phone from a withheld number, with no 'phone number shown on any paperwork I've received.
- Caller: Talbot Asset Management/
- WayneI also had a request from Talbot Management, to sell my Art from the London art company but when they demanded £3,100 alarm bells started to ring
- Pessimist| 1 replyI got involved with Bull-Markets that went into compulsory liquidation. Talbot Asset Management rang me and offered to get my money back for a fee. After this fee there was another fee and I asked if there would be any more requests for money. I got no reply, but several days later was asked for further funds to release my money from an escrow company. I was never made aware of the total costs of the whole transaction nor that there would be installments, This was misleading. They assume that I have thousands to throw at the problem.
- Caller: Talbot Asset Management
- Alarm BellsYes called today by the same. Upfront fees for selling my African Land. Apparently they have already sold 42% for other investors. Ben Charles is the guy. Be warned. Spoken to the FCA Capital Alternatives being taken to court for one reason whether the land itslf actually exists and that they are in ownership of it in the first place. Very aggressive hard sell. Trying the same tactics as were used to sell me the land 6 years ago. Do not touch with a bargepole. Be interested if they have done any legitimate work for anyone. Let me know if not a scam
- Caller: Talbot Asset Management
- Caught OutSometimes when you ring you get "0108 new number not available". 0108 is used to disguise the real telephone number
- Bas. replies to CMWAction fraud, I know the feeling....
- Caught Out replies to PessimistFinally made paid a small fee to Talbot on the understanding that monies would be released within seven days. You'll never guess what happened, - a further request for substantially more money from Jonathon Shares.
- Alan M replies to JeffMe too! Offering loads of money but with £2,750 upfront!! Companies House list the Company Status as 'Liquidation' - enough said I think.
