Enquiring about Professional Indemnity Insurance renewal dates

Further to previous posting.....
We have traced 02079704991 to being displayed when our 0845 number is called and the caller withholds.  Therefore this number must be in a batch used by Telecoms World PLC for number diversion.

Supposed to be enquiring about car for sale, when trying to call said number the line is dead.

Keeps calling but when I answer it just goes dead. Cant call back either as also dead.

Called to get information about the car for sale but, nonsense person who asked for my deatils. Be aware he is quite clever in theft.

this is what they call a shadow number my local free ads paper uses them when you place a ad you can use the shadow number so you dont get harrased also when some one calls you they get given a shadow number its jast a way of stopping people getting your home number when your selling /buying stuff

This number called me at 8am & hang up! tried calling back & number is dead.

I have a YAC.com personal number & I have it set to call my mobile 1st & if no answer then it will divert the caller to my land line the callers number comes on my caller id as 02079704991 I've just tested this.

called on two occasion left no message, did not try to ring back, if they can't leave a message, can't be important

rang this morn @ 08:55. Did leave a message, just said "Hello hello" then hung up. African sounding gent.

hi i had a call from this number enquing about my car for sale ..now this person rang me twice on the 2nd time i cheek the number out .. but the lady sounded very intrested in the car and side she wanted to come and see it .. i gave her my addred and postcode she siad she would call at 2.30 tomorow i press 1471 i realize it was a hoix  now im very concernd about giving out my addrfes and post code .. plss dont make the same mistke i have ...

is there any thing we can do to stop them calling you . i have registerd with a cumpony to stop this sort of calls but its not working ???? any one with any ideas

Thanks for this useful web site - just found 5 missed calls on my mobile from 002079704991 - 4 within a minute and another about 10 mins later (shows 2 0's at beginning of my phone, a feature I sometimes get when calls are redirected from my Vonage number to mobile) - I insure with Hiscox, so might be valid, but having seen the other messages above I will ask for a number to call them back on, then see if it matches up!

recieved a call from this number claiming to want to buy my boat and all sorts of offers! not convinced now i have read the above info watch this space.
PS BT were no help!

number called me today, was selling insurance

We've had an automated message coming from this number claiming to be from Barclays Bank..

Called me at 1.45 am today and at around 8 am. I did enquire about Professional Indemnity Insurance a week ago from several companies.

called answering an ad for a room to let but not yet in local area.  I think it is a scam for personal info

Called from 0207 970 4991 regarding car for sale. wanted to buy at ridiculously low price, allegedly for Dubai based chum.
Talk is cheap, actions speak. Beware.

the number 0207 970 4991 called me today regarding birds for sale said he was hertford based gave him my door No. and post code.tried to ring back but number was dead.i am a very worried chap now
