Call from a claim company in Manchester (with a London phone number).
I have asked them not to call again and remove my number from the list.
I suspect the origin of the call is from when I filled in my number on an insurance comparison site.
I will not be entering my number on websites again

this number called my mobile at 7.30pm - I dont know who they are

Just got a call from this number, have been using insurance comparision websites recently so must be connected to this

I had an accident in December and this company called me last week offering me help to make a claim.  Needless to say I advised them to foxtrot oscar and never call me again.  Today I received another call but with no one on the end of the line.  Its a computer calling and when it hears a voice it conects to a call taker hence the delay in me speaking and them responding.  It concerns me its a London code and the bloke said he was in Manchester.  DODGY

They just called me too - ignored it anyway but this is a great site for confirming my darkest fears..

My phone rang and i answered, no one at the other end so i hung up hasnt rung back

Have rung me constantly for 2 days.... have had 17 missed calls!!!!

have received a few calls on my mobile from this number but never had the pleasure of answering in time.....I think based on the advice on this site I might just keep ignoring it......

Call from this number at 16.00 hrs 11-03-2010 - the third of the day - but had been out earlier.
Polite lady - asked for me by my full name - telling me that the law had changed in respect of insurance claims for any credit cards that I might have.
I told her that my telephone number had been registered with telephone preferance and that she should abide by the rules. She said that she had my number from a third party company. I declined any further conversation and she hung up.

Rang me on my mobile. I never answer calls I don't know. Rang back from landline as withheld number and they are "The Claims Guys". These rang me once  before and I asked them not to ring me back - started ringing me after using a car insurance comparison site. I have warned everyone I know not to use comparison sites.

Same as above, called me several times since using comparison sites, identified themselves as the ! "Claim Guys" Will never use comparison sites again as they have betrayed my trust!!

I have had constant calls from this number today that I haven't answered but have gone to my voicemail. When I listened to it there is noone there. Not impressed at all.....

I used www.confused.com this week for car insurance quotes... I think it's down to them.

I have had several phone calls from this number and have not answered a few times and no message left, when I called them it was the old claim scam thing.
I have also answered several times and each time politely informed them that my number is in the telephone preference service (exempt from phone junk mail) please do not ring me again. Whenever I ask them where they got my number from they always hang up.
They have just phoned me and I once again asked them how they got my number which they couldn't answer and also that I am in TPS I also commented that if my number was not spotted on this list the fact I have informed them several times never to ring me again is enough for me to report them to TPS and get them fined. Guess what??  They hung up

Just had a call from this number on my mobile. I answered it but no one spoke on the other end. I hope its not something dodgy and i get a big bill just for answering! We will find them, AND DESTROY THEM!!!

I also filled in an insurance quote on a comparision site. This number has stared calling my mobile, watch out though ths is a different number from the one they were calling me from constantly for 3weeks ago but is the same company. will not be divulging info online again

Received numerous calls, no one on the other end when I answer.  Very annoying!!

I just got a call on this number (13:36). Stopped ringing before I reached the phone.

3 calls (I missed) from claims company. 2nd call they were told that we are members of telephone preference and to please note this, I then hung up, another similar call seconds later. Used confused.com gocompare, comparethemarket and moneysupermarket sites looking for car insurance recently. BEWARE just using these sites is taken as implied consent to unrelated marketing from pretty much anyone. You don't have to tick or untick boxes, just give details and they will get used.
