Cheers guys, my car is only on autotrader, so thats where they got my number from... but they hung up before I even answered.... perhaps they read the 'no agencies or canvassers' text? lol

They have just rung me, offering a really good price for my car, but saying I would then have to pay 99 punds. Sounds well dodgy. Num is also 02082161559.

my car has also just gone on auto trade and they called me offering to connect my with two people interested in my car

and there a 99 mpound deposit to pay but was fully refundable to me on sale of the car

sounds dodgy ! has anyone used them and had a good experience

called me as well and offerinf asking price I have to pay upfrond fee of 99 pounds, I dont think so...try elsewhere

they have been calling every day, from three different numbers for the past two weeks.! Been ignoring all calls, and they leave no message!
How about this, you sell my vehicle, then i pay the 99 quid

I've had two calls a day at least for the last two weeks.

The numbers in use were:

020 8216 1550, 020 8216 1552, 020 8216 1560, 020 8216 1567, 020 8216 1575 and 020 8216 1588

I've made a complaint to O2 and BT through their Nuisance Call departments, and also written to Trading Standards.

Utter muppets.

I use them to buy cars, bought three through Cardata over the years and happy with each one, its a free service. They also arrange finance.

Have had 3 missed calls from 02082161560, rarely answer numbers I don't recognise the area code from so came online to search it and came to this site...glad I did!

They keep calling and hanging up before I get to the phone they have called 5 times now!!!!!

They contacted me this morning, guaranteeing the full asking price for my car and a sale within the next 7 days. Not sure if this is a good idea, I will phone back and ask for VAT registration numbers and other details I can use to check how legitimate they are.

Got the call and asked him to send the details through by email. They quotted £99.50 etc etc but spot how many spelling mistakes along with an incorrect one off fee in the email. Don't touch them and just sell the car your sell you'll make more money.

2.Our service to you will start as soon as your vehicle is registered with us.By selecting our service you agree to waive your Distance Selling rights to cancel this service. If you do not agree then you should not select these services.
3. If you ask us to change the selling price of your vehicle, or correct any mistake, we will change the advertisement free of charge.
4. If you tell us that your vehicle has been stolen or damaged we will suspend the advertisement and run it again when you ask us to.
5. If you cancel an advertisement before the vehicle is sold you can advertise a second vehicle free of charge.

Nuisance calls regarding the purchase of a car

A complete nuisance . Have asked them to leave me alone. They Have been hassling me daily for 3 weeks plus leaving voicemails.

Thanks for the hands up on these con artists - they have phoned me twice now hopefully they will get the hint when i keep ignoring the number - again they must av got number from autotrader.
