Claims to represent Kensington Chronicle

Asian man - said his name was David (So that's 3 Asian men this week with English names David, Shaun and Steve!) Claimed to be calling about local newspaper and asking if I'd received the free gift (They don't do them).
As soon as I said "We've been through this before.." The phone went dead.

Asian accent, asking if we'd received local paper, told him I'm not interested and hung up. Had these calls before and told them to stop calling. My number is TPS registered so I assume these calls are coming from outside UK.
Next time I'll instigate plan B ... either just put the phone down on the table and leave them hanging on or just keep asking them to repeat themselves as I don't understand (until THEY get fed up and hang up on me)

Same the rest phoned about a local paper and asked if my address was -----. Hung up.

Sounded American- asking if I had received my Advertiser last week. I foolishly said yes and he wanted to confirm my name and house number Why? That information is easy enough for anyone to pick up.
