Called to deal with problems on my computer!  told my daughter to sit in front of computer and press certain buttons which of course she did not do stringing caller along. Then she hung up. The caller had the nerve to call back and say we had been disconnected. Some people are so persistent!

this person phoned and asked me if I was the owner of the computer in my house, when I asked which computer, he said, any computer in your house. I said I didn't own a computer and he hung up immediately. Malicious call in my opinion.

Got one from them yesterday, said they had detected a problem on our computer (there isn't any problem at all). Strung them along, like previous poster they wanted me to input certain commands which would almost certainly give them control of it. When I eventually challenged they just hung up. They're scammers on a phishing trip.

My mum has had similar calls, but she doesn't even own a PC!
