Windows called to let me know there was hacking activity on my computer.

I don't think it can be genuine cos I've had a call from this number this morning (when I picked it up, it cut off) & I've got a Macbook!

Range I told them that  I  know they were scammers  and they hung up

I've had this number twice in a week as soon as they tell me it's Microsoft I just hang up. Point is, why would Microsoft be 'policing' all these PC's and fingers your number just to help you out, no chance. However, there may be an unfortunate person that believes them and gives them full access to thier PC.

I normally just hang up but I have just had another call so told the caller (third one of the week so loosing patience) that my laptop did not have viruses and I did not understand how or why Microsoft were calling me.  Chap on the other end just started to say louder and louder that I had viruses on my computer and when I continued to dispute the fact he shouted as me to "shut up lady" and swore at me. When I laughed at him he hung up on me. Might finally have stopped them calling???? Doubt it, but much more fun to tie up their lines and make them have a bad day for scamming innocent people.

Third call this week, always between mid-day and 1 pm. Kept the caller on the line telling him I know it's a scam and he hung up on me!!!

0212 is a Morocco dialing code so I don't think Microsoft have a branch there..... do they!?!

They now call every day. First , I swore at them and hung. Then we started to pretend we dont know what to do. Shall I burn my computer? What are you wearing now? I dont know what computer is. Etc. And they hang on us. We want to waste their time by this. And at the same time we have some fun.

Called many times over last couple of weeks.  Pretending to be Microsoft and know my windows key number (which is not the key but looks genuine when really same number on every computer in command prompt).    I play there game and when they tell me ive a prob with my computer I say which one?.  It throws them.   They say you have more than one - and that its my main computer.   So I say which one?  Ive got about 52 computers in front of me and they all main.   Or I say I will just get the owner, and put them on hold (and keep telling them hes coming every few minutes).

We are getting calls every day. Caller is suggesting I have a virus on my computer. The Wife usually answers the call and gives them a load of abuse....they then hang up. Any suggestions how I can block them?

Scammers - Why has the police not banned this number? I know they can use others but that should be a minimum!

This number keeps calling me and waking me every morning!!!! After a few seconds of silence, the phone cuts off.
