A man asked to speak to my husband and when I would not connect him until he said who was calling rang off after calling me obscene names. Who are they? I shall report this.

Was found on 1471did nor speak to anyone.

My wife answered and was told she was due money from a paid up personal loan.

Phone call from male stating that he understood I had had a loan in the past that I had paid up promtly.  Advised that as I had never had a loan in my life this was very unlikly, Caller hung up. 1471 showed 0215678952.  Concerned as caller knew my Christian and Surname.

I had call from this number sounded like he said he was from BT I said I'm not with BT and hung up. He rang back shouting at me for hanging up said I'm not from BT you need a hearing aid.

Just another scammer trying to steal your money

I had a message on my answer machine and it was just deep breathing and weird

This afternoon, my wife had the misfortune to take an unsolicited call from an unpleasant, foreign sounding male caller. He tried to pass himself off as being from some sort of official body - possibly the " refund department " but difficult to be certain due to his thick accent, speed of his delivery and brusque demanding manner..He literally demanded to speak to my elderly father in relation to a loan that he has supposedly taken out, my wife informed him that this was not possible and that his information was incorrect ( she knows this for a fact ) and asked again for the individuals name, company that he represented and exact nature of his business as she didn't catch it and informed him that she has full power of attorney and would deal with this supposed "very urgent matter" on her fathers behalf, to which the individual tried to insist! That he be allowed to speak to her father to verify this and my wife again refused - The scammer then turned abusive, my wife then informed him that our phone had captured his number and if he did not desist, she would report him to the police/ authorities etc to which he sneered and challenged her to basically do her worst and trace him if she could!

Didn't catch who he said he was representing, but it was clear from the off it was a nuisance.  I said I wasn't interested and rang off quickly asking him to remove our number from his list, but he was persisting; he had my name and exact postcode and tried to tell me something about money.

Man with strong accent called said I had been seen speeding. When I said I did not understand him at all he hung up. Call from 0215678952. A scam call!!

Male caller, foreign accent, claiming to be with PPI Reclaims management.  Said I could reclaim £1500, but was unable to tell me which loan, from which bank, or when the loan was taken out.  PPI Reclaims management has no website or internet presence.  He said he was calling from Newcastle, but cold not tell me what the weather was like in Newcastle.  An ideal excuse to call him a See You Next Tuesday, which I did with glee until he rang off.  Fraudulent phishing call.

Call today from bloke with Indian accent. Said something about being due a £940 refund. Before he carried on I asked him to provide his name, name address postcode etc of his company. He refused to do this and I told him to remove my number from any list he had and not to call again ( this is the sanitised version). Don't give anyone from this number the time of day...crooks!

Man with thick Indian accent calls claiming to be from PPI Reclaims suggesting entitled to a refund on a loan between 2005 to 2009. Cant tell you the bank for data protection reasons. Asks for the bank name (think of one you don't use and he will confirm that is the correct one!). Asked him who PPI Reclaims are working for and he says it is Customer Plus. Suspecting he was rumbled said his boss was on the other line and he needed to go

This number has called my landline on 3 occasions each time naming 3 different names. When I tell them they have the wrong number they hang up

This is not a genuine PPI reclaim service.
I have just come of the phone to the company who say that they are called National Refunds, they passed me around to a couple of 'senior managers' when I told them I already have a PPI claim ongoing. They did not seem to understand this, and were insistent that they were doing the 'final paperwork' before I get paid my claim.
ME - Who are you?
THEM - National Refunds
ME - and what is your telephone number?
THEM - 1993706330 (which did not match the caller ID on my phone 02031292543)
ME - I told them this number is invalid (there is no leading zero)
THEM - Trust me it is a real number
ME - Where they are based
THEM - Manchester City was the answer
ME - So why is your number not an 0161 number then?
I was put on hold
The call handler then said that I obviously knew more about PPI than tem and didn't require their services???
Odd that they callled me!!
I called the number back with the leading 0, and it was not answered by National Reclaims some grumpy bloke who was not impressed that I had called him.

Further to prev. message, Had another call at 1616hrs from same number. Told the indian male that these calls have been officially reported and he hung up. I had in fact reported the 1st call to Action Fraud and obtained a ref number. I would urge anyone getting these calls to do the same so that action can be taken to close these scumbags down before they con any less wary people out of money.

This person called sounded Asia accent - Indian - said he was from ppi then stated "i,m going to F**k you like a N*gg*r" then hung up..

How long before these pests are stopped? This one was the latest of six today, starting first thing. Have in the past done a 1471, dialled the number to be told that the number is "not recognised." How can an non-number make a call? Come on bt, sort the technology out!

Caller had indian accent and said i was due for ppi back £1700.00 with natwest bank. Also knew my name address and postcode. Scary!!.  I have a call blocker so have blocked from contacting me again.
