This number called when I am not home, talking to my 7 years old daughter saying he's from the police department and we should evacuate becuase there is a bomb in the house. We already talked to the police about it. They said it must be an internet call. The number keeps calling every day but never leaves a message.

This number 023-789-1234, called me 30 min. ago and a woman tell me she is for long distance company Call Sellect and when I declined his offer a man called me  one minute after,and was very impolite and threaten me

I dont know if they are from the long distance compagny.

This is an attempt at identity theft. They take all kinds of information alleging to sell you something very cheap. In my case it was a cell phone from a reputable company.

I had a call from this number saying my computer was running slow and did I want their help to sort it - I said no as I could smell a scam - and what kind of number os 0234567890????

This number has been calling daily for a few weeks - usually just music playing, but yesterday a man with an accent (poss Indian?) said he needed to speak to me about my computer.  I told him I wasn't interested and not to call again and put the phone down.  A minute later he rang again so I swore at him and put the phone down - he rang back another 8 or 9 times asking why I 'abused' him.  Sometimes I let it go to answerphone - but then he rang back again and again.  I said I would be reporting the number to ofcom - he rang once more and then stopped.  I wouldn't be surprised if he rings again today - any advice on how to stop this?  I've noticed that he was calling from two different numbers - one much shorter than this one.

Number came in as unknown person.  Let answering machine take it.  The caller kept sayin hello hello. I figured this must be a scam and reported it to the do not call registry

10am.. Just received a call from 0234567890
A western gentleman phoned and said "I had to go to my computer and he would give me instructions on how to delete a virus".  I told him that I was fully protected and I was not interested, then closed the call.
I then dialled 1471 to obtain the number.  Found you (whocallsme) on the internet and knew it was a scam, so reported it to my phone company to get the number barred.
Thanks for all your help. It is a pity that phone companies cannot bar this number at source. Dave

keep getting daily calls from this pest - number not recognised when I call back. They don't leave any message or speak to me when I answer.
Wierd number and waste of space!

Received call from this no. today (foreign accent - female).  There was a long pause which changed to a ringing tone before I heard a voice.  Gave name of  ?? "computer company". (The caller was indistinct). I think she told me that I was having trouble with my PC and that I used Windows.  Trouble - yes;  (unusual and OK today)  but I don't have Windows OS so I smelled a rat.   I was then asked if I had a lap-top (I don't), so I terminated the call.

This is the second call of a similar nature.  The first, (some months ago) was from "First Computer Care".

Just got a call from this #, looked very suspicious, googled it and found this forum. When I answered, my phone made the "dialing out" sound, so I hung up immediately.

0234567890 called me this morning.  

When I picked up the phone it immediately diverted (i.e. began ringing as if I was dialling out).  This is always suspicious, so I put the phone down before it had a chance to connect (to what would doubtless have been some dodgy premium rate number that charged me a fortune).

No idea who it was, but it was blatantly dodgy.

Asked if I owned a computer and used Dell operating system.

this number has called me countless times this morning....every time I answer the phone goes dead....I wonder if it is someone just checking if there is anyone in the house??
Best thing to do with these unwanted calls which make you feel threatened is to dial 14471 after the call and this logs it as a malicious call....It seems to work for me..no more calls from unknown callers...

Second call in as many days.
First they claimed to be for windows. I told them they were lying (I use mac) and how could they live with themselves lying to people to extort money.
Today they call informing me my pc is sending error messages to them. I asked them which pc I use and they said it was windows pc. I just hung up.
