A missed call, and a message giving this number was left on my mobile. I re-called the number, and it was an asnwering machine from something calling itself "Short breaks". The worrying thing was that the call did not show in my call log under missed or answered, and the message was not in my message folder when i went back to check the number. My phone is on the `do not call list'.

Did you find out who this company is. Same odd thing happened to me. No message saying i had missed a call and no "missed call" in my log. When i called it back it was the same "Short Breaks".

Just received a call from this number as well. Said they were from the Lorne Hotel offering 50 free breaks, I did not listen past the initial offer.

I missed a call from these people. When I called them back, I got an answering machine directing me to their website, sunseekerholidays.com.au.

It sounds like a travel company selling short break deals. I have spoken to them before and actually bought a holiday from them. They are legitimate if it is Sunseeker Holidays but there are occassionally some shonks trying to scam. You can Sunseeker  for the number of the Resort they are representing and if they are the real Sunseeker they will give you that number without hesitation ( I did this and had a great holiday). I missed the call but its a company called sunseeker holidays cold calling for travel deals, unless you want a holiday dont bother answering

Sunseeker are still at it. 2 missed calls from them in a week. Number now auto blocked!

Sunseeker Holidays...Even though you tell them you aren't interested, and not to call they keep calling !!!! Pfffffftttttt!!!

This number is for Sunseeker Holidays although they would not identify their company name by phone - they're marketing holiday packages. Call them on 0240160400 to have your number removed from their list.

Yes these telemarketers !  How bloody rude to hang up on us - I am usually on a ladder or at driving when they ring and its just plain rudeness of them to be such nuisances and hang up without saying anything

I wonder how many aged or single people they do the same thing too - they would perhaps thinks its burglars etc casing out the house or perhaps worse !

Wake up telemarketers !  When I get a hotel location they are representing I ring that hotel to complain about their contractors abrupt calling practices.

If you get a call from a genuine Sunseeker telemarketer, expect him or her to be genuinely terrified of losing their job, thus hectoring you into buying a holiday, then proceeding to treat you like a number - literally: "Your 16 digits on your Visa card"?
But don't blame the part-time, replaceable minions who work for this company. Rather, blame the company. Telemarketers at Sunseeker Holidays call businesses! They call Hospitals, Clinics, Retirement Homes, so-called "private numbers". Sunseeker Holidays will call anybody and everybody, beit at work or while you're in hospital breathing through a nostril. As employees, they are bullied, shamelessly micro-managed, threatened and regularly sacked. In a nutshell: No credit card numbers, no job. It's about gnawing a hole in your pocket via your ear, over and over again. It's about the numbers - your numbers! Customer service comes when you are demanding a refund or taking advantage of the "cooling off period" (this can be done by by cancelling your transaction). Only then you may hear a voice of seemingly plausible reason. Otherwise, avoid working for or buying from Sunseeker Holidays. Telemarketers Beware, too. You'll be pressed to last a month in the industry and morally neutered for life. By all means Seek, but seek elsewhere.

Maybe you shouldn't be a telemarketer, isn't that your job....sales? No selling equals no job sounds about right to me. All jobs are the same, I am a chef/cafe owner and hey guess what...no cooking equals no job. Sorry but you just sound like a disgruntled, inadequate employee who has lowered themselves to bad mouthing an ex employer to make yourself feel better.

Sunseekers hoilday we had voucher with them for the last 5 years every year they ring so he just renew the vouchers but this year we decide not to as we haven't used them they rang a month ago today them no this time as we no longer need them as we brought a caravan so he be staying in caravan parks guess what 4 phone call in one day .... They r block now like to know how they got our number in the first place as we have be on the do not call list for years
