Numerous calls daily, not answering calls now - thinking of getting rid of phone.

Got a call and when I picked the phone up it was then put down. This has happened about 5 times now.

Getting a pain

My first call from an 0247 number which is why I picked up the call.
I was greeted with the usual "Payment Protection Insurance" rubbish.

Very frustrating

Other numbers currently on my list begin with 0114; 0116; 0120; 0131; 0179; 0247; 0292; plus a veritable raft of 0843 numbers.

I received a call from this number..same thing reported by others that there's no answer when i pick up. I then thought of putting this number in google and hey presto..this website reporting that others have experienced the same. I love this website!

I had a voicemail message left from this number saying they had already processed my refund, haven't a clue what they're on about. odd.

Got a call from this number to my mobile, about a payment protection insurance refund.  Strange I've had the phone for 2 days and only moved back to the UK a week ago.  Some sort of scam I guess or telemarketers hoping some one picks up

Managed to not get nuisance calls for a year on my mobile contract.  Hung up straight away once I heard "PPI".  Something really needs to be done.

I've had a call from this number. I picked it up and all I heard was heavy breathing

I've literately just had one  from this number and all I got was refund n I was like wtf then got heavy breathing ....... Is anything being done about this ?

No VM left and glad I didn't hear the heavy breathing, that would have freaked me out.

Silent call

I just had a call from this number, when I picked up I got an automatated message- I never had payment protections so I hung up.

Wow... I missed a call and found this page. This is shocking. Who is this person? Good thing you have this page to inform people.

Got two calls in space of 5 mins

had 14 missed calls from this number today 4.12.12. mad.

I've had my mobile number for years and have never had any junk calls until about 6 weeks ago. Someone has sold my number to these people and I'm really not happy about it! This practice should be made illegal. I now get 2 or 3 calls a week, I don't answer them, I just look them up on this website.

This is a PPI company. Best way to get rid of them is to submit their number on as many spam web sites as you can!

How do you stop these calls? I have to have my phone switched on for work calls. I'm being called by sales companies all times of day. Being constantly interrupted, I have no peace and no privacy.

Hacked off with these people keep calling.  PPI - surely something can be done about them! I blame phone companies for selling our mobile numbers!  Can't something be done to stop them?

Will not answer any more - just cut off!!!
