This number rang at 3 am!!! When I tried to return the call it said the number was disconnected.

I also had a call from this number but when I tried to return the call (via skype) it said the number was invalid.  An hour later I had an "overseas" call supposedly to "fix the problems with my computer".  Any telemarketing calls with a phone number displayed I now save to my phone under 'Telemarketer' - saves having to pick up the phone and gives me a certain amount of pleasure to know they're ringing for nothing!

This number is asscoiated with a VOIP calling service, Phone calls made over the internet. It is not just one company that uses this number it is thousands of companies the all use the same VOIP service.

Yes but who's? Range is Grafton N.S.W. Belonging to Optus and calls seem to cover entire 100 block and are genuinly coming from the Optus network. The number of calls we see suggest it must be either skype / engin or similar sized player.

I got call from this no and is engaged when I tried to call back.

Just got off a call from this number from someone who said it was in reference to the federal government's solar rebate scheme and they were from the Green Energy Shop. I asked her for the address and she said 1303 Victoria Melbourne. I said that's not a street so she replied it was on 34th street which doesn't exist. If I have the time I love keeping these guys going until they hang up on me. My record is 38 minutes. I'm bad I know.

This number keeps calling on mobile and when responded, hangs up. Several times a day. Now the number also keeps calling silent landline.

What's wrong with fellow?

I am fed up!

Forgot to mention, if you ring this number, sometimes the fellow answers but the moment you try to find out he hangs up.

And other times the error comes as this number is disconnected.

Just got missed call from this number 02-5169 9399 and no message left. When trying to call back I received an Optus message saying this line is not connected. I only returned the call 5 minutes after it rang on my mobile.

Had a call from this number at 1:29am.  I didn't answer it but it did get me worried, checked out the callers in the morning and this number came up.

Got a call from this number twice today. Didn't answer either one, because I didn't recognise the number.

Nothing said just silence then hangs up.

Number called me, didn't hear anyone, nothing said, silence, I hang up, not time for stuff like that.

I got a called from the number. It's from one of my relatives in Thailand. So it's proly true that it's from one of the VOIP services. Didn't ask him about that though.

Got a call from this number. Silence on the other end.

I received this number 3 times, but everytime I missed the calls. When I call back, it said the number is no longer in used.

You receive a scam call out of the blue claiming there is a problem with your computer.

This is a scam.  Number has been saved in my home phone as scammer.  Female caller said she was from Microsoft support and that there is a problem with my computer.  Now I gladly pick the phone up and greet them with my most colourful aussie hello and then hang up.  They are now using Voip to call my landline because I got telstra to put a block on my home phone to stop all incoming overseas calls.  What will they try next.
