Said was working on behalf of internet providers (bt, sky , virgin etc) and they could remove some corrupt files on pc which would speed up my connection. wanted me to go to website (yeah right). when i asked for details they soon hung up

Just been called by this number about 20 minutes ago exactly the same as Andy. I reported this to Sky, apparently they tell you that you have loads of viruses and then try to sell you their virus protection.

And me! Said they were from Talk Talk.

I'm a sky tech support person, a customer has just called me up having had the exact same call type from this number.  don't give these scammers the time of day.

just been called on this number , she said it was to do with my payment protectin insurance claim. When  asked  why it was any of her business ,she hung up.

I was called and I actually allowed the guy to remotely access my PC because I thought it was from virgin technique support. I told him to f**k off when he said he has deleted my anti virus software.

Just had a call and there was initially silence and when I said 'Hello' the woman told me ' f**k off [***]'

Had two calls within 5 minutes of each other. After reading the comments on here, I answered but  never spoke and they hung up. I'm exdirectory so how do they keep getting my number?

Called and claime dto be from BT and TalkTalk affering me the opportunity to speed up my connection. When it cam down to it they were offering PROTECTION for a one off payment of £199 and I would be protecetd for 9 years. When I asked for contact details they refused but did say they wer ein WALES. Very strong Indian/Pakistan accent? I am reporting to TalkTalk.

Repeated calls within minutes woke me as I am a shift worker, very annoying. Tried to sell me something, I told them they had woken me, and how annoyed I was and they hung up.
