even i got call today, that u won 2nd price of $60,000. they send me mail with ticket from lijinggroup@yahoo.com.au. they asked for some details. if anyone knows about this. pl. post it over here. is this real or fack thing?

hi hiren, this same thing happening with me. two ladies name was erick and  andy who was belong to linjinggroup.even i surprise they r cotinuosly calling me . if u find out any information about them plz post it here. they r wasting our time and hurting our feelings. i have their fax number and branch contact number which they gave me . if i got any prize may b i lucky. if nt i want to try to find out them. even they  said  they will  ring me on any time this monday .plz if any1 get any information abt them try to posted here.

u will find all detils. they send me check with mistake in name, they send me another check in word. the story is the same as like in this froums posted here. the check number is exactly same as the person in forum posted here as a image.

I got a cheque copy Emailed from a Hang Seng Bank Hong Kong,Email lijinggroup @ yahoo.com.au requestet to pay in exess of $ 3500.- to Hong Kong Tax Office??  Smart!!! befor money can be transfered . What a scam!!!! Be warned !!  Nogo   12/10/09   How to stop this crims???

Today the lady called me and said that I have won that second prize of $400000 HK.What a rubbish...Thanks for letting me know before I could have put myself into this trouble.

Even I have been getting calls from Li Jing group. I called them back to know about their company but lady could not explain & just hang up.
What they are trying to do. Does some one has got any idea?

ya i also got same called from lijing group 3 times and the last time she was saying that i won prize, before she was saying i got ipod in survey of casino and she is sending on working days with in ten days but still she hasnt sent me, and when i called to lijing group the number was not connected, i think they r fruad n try to get something from us

Hi, I got a similar call but they were called Fenghua group and their number was 02-6100-8650. They 1st called me asking survey questions and said as a thank you they will send me an ipod. They called again recently and said that my address bounced back and iPod was returned to them.
They also said they had a promotional party where they have a raffle -  1st prize was BMW car, 2nd prize HK$400,000. I didn't go but I called the place where they were going to hold the party. The place did not know anything about it so that's when I got suspicious. Later on they called and as expected I won the 2nd prize which was the money. They told me to fill in a form to claim the prize but haven't done it since now I know it's a scam.

I'm a bit worried though that they might keep calling me and try to track me down. I don't know what to do.

I also got similar phone call from Fenghua Group mentioning that their company is opening a casino in Australia and their representative based in Canberra.  They asked me a quick 1 minute survey and as a thank you offered me choice of ipod or sony mp4 player.  Next day I got a call from Jenna and an email with winner claim form attached followed.  I really got suspicious and started asking lots of questions.  That lady calmly answered all the questions in a very convincing manner.  I just ignored and again got a call this morning from the same person (there are two voices, I suspect both voices from the same person), as usual followed an email with winning claim form attached.    Please make sure you protect your private and confidential information.  They are after your driver's license number or passport or medicare card number.  I strongly believe this is scam and should be avoided at any cost.

Call the authorities - if you've fallen for the [***] these sorts of scammers feed you, call the authorities - BUT FIRSTLY YOUR BANK!! Even your local police should be able to help you in one way or another - even if just to tell you where you need to look for the appropriate info. Good luck, they tried this on me too, and many others. Looks like they may be changing their business name as they get caught each time, and change their employees names as well. So, beware, they may try you again, just a different story.

hey even today i got this type of call first they told you won ipod nano and after 10 days they told  me that i won 30,000$ but its fake they send some raffel tickets and form but i didnt reply

OMG, i was just reading through all your messages as I have been in the same boat and just as I was reading them, I got a call from the scammers, stating that I won a prize!!!I told the woman to speak to my husband who is a police officer and she immediately hung up on me!!!

Do these people in Honkong or where ever they are,  thin that Australians are idiots???

I also got similar phone call from fenghua group and asked to do a survey for one minute about opening a casino in Canberra. Then they offered an ipod as a gift for paticipating in the survey. The following day I had a phone call from the same lady by name"Abby" inviting me to a promotional party in perth. Yesterday she rang again saying I won the 2nd prize worth $60000,which is strange.
Now she wants me to fill a form to claim the prize.I can't find any information from the internet about this company.
do i need to contact police as she knows my name and address.
Anyone can give an advice?

They can get names and addresses from the phone book that is public knowledge so talking to the police will not help. Just ignore them.
