Wanted cash for tax evation n to avoid going to court I had to pay $5923. He kept me waiting on the line. Then he wanted me to go into my car for the next step. That's when warning bells sounded.

Claimed to be ato , left message on answering machine to ring that number back , said he had prosecution claim against me , very aggressive sounding man .

Report the number to police

had several calls - sounds Indian with Australian names !!- Mike Davies , John Matthews
got aggressive when I statred asking the questions!
My advice - give it back to them & hang up...

Left a message on our answering machine for my husband tried to call it back and number is disconnected.  Mentioned my husbands former place of work.   I am suspicious an my husband has just been applying for numerous jobs which obviously includes his place of employment...

Aggressive message left on my landline from a certain John Mathews from ATO, saying I'm been handed over. Left this number to call back 02 614 03480. But the number is a blank.

Same as below, super dodgy, ATO protocol is to send a letter, if the ATO leave you a voice message they will leave you a message with a reference number and ask for you to call back on a the general ATO number. Scammer 101
