I am getting over this.... they call me and it just hangs up

I get this as well!

I am constanly receiving these phone calls, usually they hang up on me. Today however an indian  sounding woman announced herself as somebody from TELECOM they don't even exist anymore. Am sick of there calls and am going to look into this further.Glad to know I'm not the only person constantly being harassed. will keep you all posted.

Some one is calling me from this phone no whenever i attend the call they just keep hang up. Some be some F indian!

Got a call from these guys AGAIN to our collingwood (melb) number - They always call around 4pm and hang up.

these idiots call me at least once a week!!!!!!!!!!!

I have asked them to take me off their list, however they refuse.  They are from some telecom company, and they annoy the hell out of me!!!!!!

Arghh so annoying!

Just letting you all know how i got rid of the caller.
I called them back. again and again. And threatened to find them and show them exactly how irritating their calls are.
I called them around 4 times in the space of 5 minutes, and called them back if they hung up on me. I kept asking how annoying it was to be bothered over and over again... and eventually she promised to take me off their list and never call me again. I think she was petrified.
I told her if I got another call from that number ever again, I will spend days calling them back and abusing them. Seemed to work.

It might have been over the top, but my grandfather just died and getting prank calls everyday for the last three weeks disturbing my grieving family is just about all i can take.

Yes! these people keep calling me around 6.30! It is so annoying i'm ready to scream! Sometimes it comes up as private but today it came up with that number! so annoying! Might have to try calling them back too.

Just keep pranking them back. its fun

I had phone calls from this number 0280036012 in the morning, afternoon, 1am - I got sick of them and told them their number has been handed to the police - both Indian he & she went ooppss sorry and hang up

SO SICK OF IT!!!! IT JUST RUNG ME AGAIN, EVERYDAY IT HAPPENS JUST TOLD THEM IM GOING TO REPORT IT TO THE POLICE NOW........

I have constantly had annoying calls from this number also. I have repeatedly requested for my name to be taken off their list.
That was months ago, when a family member passed away.
The past 2 days, they have started to call again. I asked them one again, to please stop annoying me, they assured me my number would be removed.
I am normally a patient person, however 15 mins ago they make another call.
Once again, the timing wasn't good for me, after having a family member admitted to hospital today, I ended up YELLING at the woman who replied "madam, please don't yell" and she hung up.
I rang back & told her I was reporting them to the Police ... she hung up... I rang back a 3rd time and swore at her as I cannot take anymore of these calls ...
This saga began last year !!

Cannot believe that I have just received another call today !!
Once again I asked if my number can be deleted off their list, & requested that they PLEASE stop annoying me ... I have constantly told them I do NOT make international calls ...
I have a "silent number", however, my next move is to contact the "Do NOT Call" register, and report the problem to Telstra.
Grrrrr !!!

If you own an Android phone, there is a handy app called "Super Private Conversation" where a blacklist may be defined... calls and/or text messages can be blocked without any indication. It's a bit like a spam bin for calls and texts. Dont rely on "do not call" registers or appealing to these guys to stop calling. Just block the number.
