I'm tired of not being able to answer my home phone it is private and apart from family no one has it not even the banks! Like the rest of the people I've also had other numbers from lists below ring every 5min. For hours on end! I'm tired of this what can be done and who the he'll are these people?!!

Some dumb blockheads keep calling and muttering something about overseas calls. Those idiots are very likely after money. Thats why they keep calling. Forward their number to the police and ask the police to follow up.

Caller was someone claiming to be from Bluetone Telecom at about 5pm. They only started speaking after about 10 seconds of silence on the line. They ask if you make any international calls and say they have a good deal to offer you cheaper rates.
Just tell them politely you don't make any overseas calls and end the call.

This is a disturbing call, especially in the odd timings. No response from the other side, getting 3-4 calls a week. Its really irritating.

I get calls from this number but once picked up the person on the other side disconnects without responding anything. Strange! Today the call was from 0280036018

They appear to be Indian telemarketers trying to earn a living via call centres based in India. Trying to sell cellphones, cheaper overseas calls etc. They will never stop calling until they push a sale through. Try changing one's phone number and keep that number silent. Might work.

This is a scam, I originally received a call from someone pretending to be from Melbourne good luck with that because the delay for the connection was delayed, the idiot then went on to talk about my bills being paid on time and they will waive my GST and line cost for my telstra line... I am not with telstra mistake 2.  I called my provider they told me it was a scam and to call them again if any other problems occur.. well these people did not like me hanging up on them so they are prank calls to irritate me, so a quick call to  discover what this persons number was lead me to this page need I say more!!  They did have my name first and last bit worrying.

And chose option '3' you can get to their US office. The people there are better than the Indian people, they don't just hang up on you. They offered to stop calling my number - who knows if they will, but that is what they said. They also claimed they would honour the Australia do not call registry if you register there:

If you do register there and they still call you in 30 days you can lay a complaint with ACMA on that website. Let's all do that so we can complain if they don't stop.

I keep getting calls from this number irrespective of repeatedly telling them not to bother me. :-(
