We are receiving numerous fax calls to our voice lines from 02 8003 6300 and we would like to track the owner of this number

I have been getting at least two calls a week from this number - 02 80036300 - always on the same day and within 30 mins of each other.
This has been going on for a few months now..
Is there any thing I can do to stop this as its so annoying??

Same problem here, it's been happening at least five years.

I also get calls for this number at least once a week.
Anyone know who they are?

I've been having the same problem; incoming fax calls from 02-8003-6300 every week for about the last couple of months.

It looks like it's a generic outbound caller ID for people using Exetel's VoIP service, so good luck in tracking down who's actually calling you - at a guess I'd say there'd be at least hundreds (if not thousands) of people on Exetel VoIP.

Here's a discussion on Exetel's user support forum where one of their customers is complaining that his (outbound) caller ID always comes up as 02-8003-6300 when he makes an outgoing call;

Same problem here - we have been getting fax beeping on our voice line every few days for a couple of years. It fills up our answering machine and is so annoying!

We've had fax calls from the same number for the last few months. We're yet to work out if there's any pattern but seems to be almost daily.

says it is Upskilled on the fax

I keep getting fax beeps on my work phone voice mail from 02 8003 6300. Have been on and off for many months now. They almost always come in after hours. I rang Upskilled as per 'cracker 5 May 2010' and they admitted they outsource their bulk faxing but would not say who this company is. And said they would put my number on the 'Do Not Fax' list. We'll see.
This suggests to me that the phone number belongs to the bulk faxing business, and not Upskilled, and Upskilled are only one of their many clients. So while Upskilled may have requested my phone number be removed, the bulk faxing company may have my phone number on some of their other company lists. And I am sure they won't remove across all their lists.
If anyone really wants to try a bit harder than I did, perhaps you could call Upskilled (1300 009 924) and try and get the company name of the bulk faxing company...the post their name and number here :)

I have received multiple marketing faxes from this number.
They have unsubscribe instructions at the bottom:
Visit www.stopfaxing.me and enter the number to be removed.
However you also need the code for the marketer, which in my case was UPSK; this is unlikely to be the only code if they handle outbound faxes for multiple marketers.

I've just received an unsolicited fax from these people. It's an organisation called "Upskilled Training." They give a phone number: 1300 009 924

Upskilled Training http://www.upskilled.com.au uses a SPAM company called Ozmedia P/L Ph.: 1-800-442-557 http://ozmedia.com.au according to one of their employees.
Ozmedia P/L run a website called Fax Shack http://www.faxshack.com this is where these SPAM Faxes come from. They skilfully try to hide their phone numbers by placing a lot of empty space under the e-mail contact form. See their Enquiry page and scroll right down!
Obviously they rather have us contacting them via e-mail so they can ad our e-mails to their spam mail lists. Yes, they do that too, read their website, even sms spam and them annoying calls from call centres. Off course in their view its not spam its marketing!

By the way don't use this stopfaxing.me website, IT IS PART OF THE SPAM SCAM!
Submitting your details to this website which is most likely owned by OzMedia P/L too has increased the SPAM faxes of many people.

A Spam company called CBOX P/L is annoying people since years, but offers a opt out website called stopfax.com.au using this, people get more spam faxes than before. They might remove you from their list but sell your details on to the next spam business. The owner Wendy Syme of CBOX P/L gets her knickers all twisted trying to explain how we are all wrong, because she and her fellow spammer business colleagues are all good to us by doing what they do!
To STOP THE SPAM visit the ACMA - Australian Communications and Media Authority website http://www.acma.gov.au/WEB/STANDARD/pc=PC_310525#fax and get your number listed. If you then still receive spam faxes or phone calls complain at the ACMA website this will get the spam business fined!

I've been getting calls from the same no. for 3.5 yrs from an unlisted no.. Telstra blocked them for a while but they appear to have changed to this no. recently. usually ring 3 times in a row within 20 mins of each other. the calls are to a voice no not a fax
