I recieved a call from a foreign (male) who said thet I had over $3000.00 owing to me from bank over charges and that I needed to go to a post office and deposit $250.00 via western union which would be added to my refund. When I went into the post office and asked they informed me that it looks like a scam. The person rang me while i was in the post office and told me not to tell them what it was about and go to another post office. NO WAY

I just got a call from an Angela Simpson
from this number asking for name and bank details
and she will pay me $3476  then I can go to the post office
and claim it from them she didnt get as far as asking
for cash through western union
she gave me her number as 02 80037579

hey yes i just got the same call and rang the number back he said he gave me the wrong number

i just received a call form a non-english speaking person (Indian Accent) He could`nt even speak properly let alone, say Australia .
He claims he was calling on behalf of the Australian Council Bank Reclaim Department , from the first hello I knew it was a scam , he asked to confirm my date of birth and I said no . I kept questioning him what this was on about and then he says the government is helping Australians , after the whole Bank fee recession . What a load of rubbish . He said his name was Neil T.K Wilson , so i asked to speak to his Supervisor/Manager , then he puts me on hold and another Indian comes on and I ask whats your name and he says Fred Wilson . Laugh out Loud . I said are you all Related in your work Place ?? Then I asked him whats the name of the worker who called me ? then he goes quiet and puts me on hold . What a idiot !! SCAMMMMMMMMMMM alright ! I asked them for a contact number but he wouldn''t give me one till i confirm my date of birth . Then I said whats the point of confirming my information when you said you have it in front of you , then he went all vague and quite ! He wanted me to go to the Post Office and fill out a form and send him $400 , then in 15minutes I will recieve $4400 in return . No thanks mate have your fake make believe money for all I care . then I try calling the contact number and its rings once then hung up , then tried again and no answer .

Please ignore this number and do not give any personal details out i.e) identification, bank details. This is a scam and should be reported to your local fair trading office.

hi yes i had the same phone call bout 7.30am telling me the same thing post office etc then she rang me again bout 9.30am that same day asking me if i had done what she asked me 2 do at the post office but by then i had done some research on it and found nothing but this site and told her that it was a scam she denied it and told me that my money is waiting for me to claim it so i said no its a scam then she hung up on me and then the cheeky b***h had the cheek to ring me that aftanoon bout 2.30pm telling me she rang me this morning and repeated the same thing to me so i just played along with her and said its a scam lady i dont want it coz i rang my bank and they have never heard of that b4 then she reckons to me that its coming from a germany bank i then thought to myself your full of s**t and told her to give money to a charity she said ok thank you and hung up her name by the way was cathleen parker.with an indian accent.so its well and truly a scam guys.....

12-5-2011 I also had a call from this number by and indian sounding male person, just a few minutes ago. I fronted him immediately about it being a scam, but he denied it (of course) and tried to get me to go to the post office to get a western union transfer form to send $100 so that I could receive $3549 in overcharged bank fees. I had cause to go to the post office anyway for other business, so I asked and they said it is a scam.

By the way he said his name was Leo and his ID Code is 5536

I received a call today 0280037579 is the number I was to call to check that what he said was true. I contacted council to be told there was no money owing me as soon as he said I had to pay  $150 admin fee  I knew it was a scam.. I contacted them back on ther number and told them I knew it was a scam and had contacted police and they hung up.

i have recievd my money back these guys are helpful its not a scam at all..my experience was great..
