Had a call from this number saying the name of their company is Software Support based in Sydney. Told me my computer is infected, offered me 1year warranty to fix and update anti-virus for $103 and supervisors name is Roger Hoffman.  Not sure how they got my details or how they know my comuter has a virus?

i also go this call, they wanted to connect to my computer to fix the viruses, after i said no they showed me where to look to see the error data (which is just rubbish) said his name was John, and wanted $380 for lifetime warranty on software and they could fix it for free. Now they rang me at 8pm on a sat night!!

This is a scam !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Beware, caller obviously uses white pages to get names. Usual scam, computer is full of error messages and for a fee they will fix problem. Take care. Name given by caller was John and very heavily sub-continent accented.

Had a call from this number (0280051832) asking me to turn on my computer saying that they were from microsoft that I had a massive virus and could I please type in this website www.teamviewer....
I questioned again thier identity and she said they were based in Sydney I requested their number and asked if I could call back as I needed to go to collect my husband. When I returned home my Nortan Anti virus indicated any problems were cleared

Just got a call from a guy, also sub-continent, same deal: please turn on your PC. Located in "21 George Street, Sydney". Gave a number of 8028003256. We are on the do not call register and I threatened to report his "company" - cyber PC support - and he hung up.
