I just had another scammer, trying to tell me that I was owed $4,851.00 and he was from a company called Reclaim Expert Department. They tell you your bank has over charged you and broking the law and the Australian Government want them to pay you back. They give you their so called managers names and then say call them to give them your details so you can have the cash deposited into your bank account within 2 days. AGAIN PLEASE don't give any information out

I just had a call from a woman who said that i had a utility repayment and wanted to confirm my details. Then told me not to talk to anyone at the post office but call her and she'll walk me through the process to send her $199 for tax and i'll get $4,800.51

a woman claiming to be from the government with government quotes ad everything said to ask for Mr Mark Jones

The exact same thing just happened to me, they said that my bank had overcharged me $4851 and that the Australian Government would refund this money to me if I called their manager on this number and ask for Mark Jones with my reference number being RS110. They also said that the Australian Government hired Indian lawyers because they were cheaper than Australian ones and that I must go to Western Union and pay $199 in order to receive the payment. I politely declined and said I didn't wish to reclaim the money. No questions asked they just said okay thank you and hung up.

just had phone call wanting to reimburse me money for bank fees that were overcharged of 4800.00. supplied my dob but nothing else, he had me details of name and address. he then proceedded to give me mark jones number to ring and he will explain more after i told him i thought he was a scammer. hope giving my dob has not got me in trouble. did not ring number

Just had a call this morning from a lady who asked me to verify my identity and call back Mark Jones on 0280054979 same details as other comments except they said a Gavin Rogers would deliver my cheque number 22950 within 2 hrs of me sending money to western union acc. She said the fee was for lawyers fees and this was the only way it could be paid. I said i think this is a scam and she said OK so you want me to cancel your application I said yes thanks and started to say that it was unfair to treat people like this and she hung up on me!!!

Yes, I had the same call!!! You know they are calling from overseas? Government orginazation?! Doubt that!

i just had a call from an asian woman telling me the aust. goernment  owed me $4851.00 she wanted to confirm my address,dob ets.she asked if i wanted a cheque or the money to put directly into my bank acc, of corse i said a cheque,she gave me a name and phone no.0280054979,so i rang it straight away,there was no answer,what a SCAM,----------------8/3/2011

Today at 12.15pm I got a telephone call from a man with an indian accent called Domenic!!!  He told me he was calling as part of an Australian Government Initiative for the Bank Reclaim Expert Department in regards to overcharged bank fees.  He knew most of my details which concerned me.  He told me that I had the amount of $4851.00 owing to me, I told him that I didn't believe him and that something wasn't right.  He then gave me a application code of  DS345 and told me to ring his managers either Mark Jones or Rebecca Brown on (02) 8005 4979 and that they could help me.  I rang that number and got more indians who gave me numerous names.  I called a 2nd time and no one spoke to me so I told them that I have contacted my local police as i think they are trying to scam me and that they are going to follow it up and then I hung up.  I haven't heard anything since.  Hopefully this helps other potential victims out there.

Hi i also got a call this morning.they are absolutely stupid and fake ppl. Idiots!!

My partner also had a call said the government had taken money from his credit card and they wanted to repay it I explained that if it had come from our credit card that would have been shown on the statement but he tried to tell me that it wasn't the case.  Anyway he also got told to Mark Jones on that same no. we have tried but no answer or engaged is this a fraud.  Same amount $4851.

I got a call from the same people just over 2 minutes ago and asked to call their manager Mark Jones and Charlie Hussey. You know when you transfer money to Western Union, you would need the recepient's details, right. I was thinking of doing that so I can get their details and hand it over to the police. What do you guys, think?

I was very skeptical, they said it was a bit over 5g I called them back and they said we will find your details and call you back, no money/western union or anything so I don't exactly know whats going on but I'll find out when they call back. The number is similar. Firtst 5 digits are the same.
