Had a call from this number, it was DLOOK. They were talking about a free listing on their directory and offering a paid service.

They optimize 'properly' the page they create for your on THEIR OWN domain, they do not optimize YOUR website.
Their marketing calls can be annoying, especially when the call and dont leave a message.
You are better to have your on website optimized than subscribe to DLOOK.
Yes, I have tried them - twice. Results did not justify the cost. Was disappointed.

If you accept a free listing and not a paid PREMIUM listing, then even on a page that shows your listing, your competitors will also be displayed on same page. The solution - pay for a premium listing!

I received a cold call from a company DLook verifying my "already free listing" that I didn't even know I had  and then selling google advertising for $249 for six months, are they legit, or is a scam.

have a premium listing thats done [***] for me....prob is when you go with them your details are online and everyother optimisation/advertisg company rings you constantly....3 months into my listing not 1 quote has come through dlook...waste of money

Used dlook's f ng, after a few persistent phone calls I agreed to pay for their premium service for 3 months.

In my case, the dlook operator claimed they could lift the Google ranking of MY website to the top page of Google. My website was already ranking rather high, but occasionally would drop off the first page so I explicitly said I wanted my page to be found via an exact set of keywords, which I was assured would be possible by the operator.

I found it hard to believe, knowing that Google doesn't let their search optimization algorithms into the public and that they change how they list results periodically, but I thought, "maybe dlook know something I don't" and so I did a 3 month trial for $130.

After 3 months, my website was not ranking in Google's first page using the exact keywords I told dlook I wanted to focus on.

Their business directory is good, but their premium package for me was a claim that they couldn't deliver on.

They are a legit company here in Australia. They are offering great advertising strategy. And do not discriminate them for not sounding Australians because of their asian accents. Australians are not racist. Come on mates.
