Thank god i did not pick it up. I rang the number back using a landline and got a prerecorded message stating that its for hollard telemarketing for one of its customer....

Got a missed call from this number today, no message was left. Won't be following up given info from 'annoyed'.

Yes, it is very annoying. I've got a miss call from this number todaybut no voice mail was left.

Soon after I registered (by mistake :() with a real estate promotion company based in Melbourne/Sydney early this year, all sorts of junk emails and hoax emails started to fly into my email inbox. Phone calls from Sydney and Melbourne have never stopped trying to get me on my mobile notwithstanding I was never bothered to pick them up.

As soon as my mobile contract comes to an end, I will be changing to a new number.

Getting daily calls from this number...glad I have my policy of not answering calls from numbers I don't know. Going to re-register on the do not call register. Thanks for this info!

Oh No! I was just called on my mobile from this number and didn't pick up as I was on the other phone, lucky just checked to see who it was and found this. Hope they don't continue to call like Sn...

They stopped for a while but tried about today!! Just googled it and realised who it was...

People calling from this number are fraud as they ask to confirm your personal details and you might give away your full name, date of birth etc. This information is then used to manipulate your accounts or apply for loans. Mine was a case of stolen identity a couple of years back and they hacked all of my bank accounts and credit cards using that. Not just that, they also managed to contact Optus and put a call forward rule on my phone service to fake my identity just in case bank suspects fraudulent activity and call you back to verify it.  

Luckily I checked this site, this number been trying to call me everyday this week. I ignored the call as I don't know who they are. Obviously it's not urgent, as they didn't bother to left voice messages.

mine was medibank. had a 2 second missed call on my mobile and then i had a call on my work phone. rather awkward

Been received this number, multiple times no voicemail or etc....so annoying

Medibank trying to sell life insurance. I answered one day and said I was busy so they have called me back once or twice a day since!

Tese ppl have been calling me every day. On a few occasions when I asked how they got my number they hung up on me.

This number had called me 25 times in 3 days, I don't pick up unknown numbers but is very very annoying

These calls are coming from an affiliate company of Medibank Private, according to Medibank Private staff member.  If you do not want your details to be distributed by Medibank Private to other companies who are affiliated with Medibank Private then you need to call Medibank Private on 132 331, give them your membership number and lodge a complaint with them and tell them that they do not have your permission to hand over your details to any affiliate company.  
I contacted Medibank Private today about this issue after being harassed by the 02 8017 8111 phone calls where no messages were left, and when I did answer the phone, they hung up.  Now my phone does not work properly and I will need to take it back to Apple.  This is not the first time my phone has failed to work correctly after answering one of these calls - it has had to be reset twice before after answering one of these calls.  It is possible that this is just a coincidence.  I have now placed Medibank Private on notice that any distribution of my private details again my permission being given will result in legal action being taken.
