I received a call from this number yesterday, they diddn't leave a message. God knows how they got my number as it is not listed (private). When hubby phoned back there was a answering service asking to leave name and number but failed to identify themselves, Hubby just hung up thank goodness.

It is so irritating. I don't know who they are and why they ring and they never leave a message...

I got caller ID so I know who is calling.
1st one was from this # 02-8023-0165 Call Center .. G Money.
2nd one was from this # 02-8023-0431 I did not answer it.
3rd one was from this # 02-8023-0451 I did not answer it.

Rings @ about 12PM and again @ 6PM.

I retrieved the number by pressing *10# then rang them
back. It was an answering machine(womans voice).
She didnt say what company it is.

Same thing happened to me today. I received two phonecalls from this numbe - I didn't answer them and the caller didn't leave a message.

For about two weeks I've been receiving calls on my mobile from 9, count 'em, NINE different phone numbers all beginning with (02) 8023xxxx... I've not answered any of them and they never leave a message - except for today, when I had a lot of background noise but no actual person speaking.  I figure if it's important enough they'll leave a message or if I'm really lucky, they'll get sick of calling me!

If you have recently applied for or changed credit cards this company (from this number & others similar) calls you & tries to sell you insurance for it. Obviously our banks are sharing our numbers. My number is also private, which I did list on my account details with HSBC (that is, my private number & the fact that it is private), however, they still got it. Have not complained to the bank yet. They seem to call me the same time each night, I just ignore them now.

I have never had a credit card and I received a call from this number today, so I'm not sure if the above assumption is correct. Having already been annoyed in the past by weird telemarketers I didn't answer my phone. Hopefully they won't ring back.

They are from a company ringing to sell HSBC Credit Card insurance. I am quite cross that these calls have been going on twice a day, every weekday, for the last month. They were calling me 2x every day at 12.30 and 6pm approx and I was just hanging up but they never leave a message. Finally today I answered the phone and I've asked them to stop calling me. Will see how effective that is!!

02-8023-0451  gotta call from them and when I answered, no one was speaking - i kept saying hello hello - it played a strange noise and call was terminated..... rang back and an auto msg asked me to leave my details. bastardz

Called them back (0280230361), and the autobot said it was the 'financial advice centre', with options of 1 to speak to an operator, and 2 to leave a message. Sounds like another financial sales co. Interestingly, i increased my Westpac cc limit last week, they tried to seel me insurance then, and I bet that is what this about from another source.

On my work extension, I received a call from this number 2 nights in a row (not sure what time, had a missed call when I got to work).  No message left.

3 missed calls to my mobile today - from 0280230451, 0280230361,0280230153.

I did get a similar thing on my work mobile to and silly me rang it to get told by pc type voice - "i had won" at that point I hung up..can we stop this

Same story, the third one othe numbers frm this site I have recieved in the space of a week.

The number 0280230451 and 0280230393 calls me every few days b/w and 530pm and i dotn recognise the number so I dont answer. They never leave a voice msg so it must not be important. I have an unlisted mobile number so i dont know how they got it. It must be a prank caller or telemarketing.

I get calls from 8023-0451 and other numbers starting with 8023 about 2-3 times a day. Never leave any messages. It's such a nuisance.

I have just had a missed call from this number (0280230451) and the message left was "I'm watching you like a hawk" in a male voice. Does anyone have any idea who this is?????

pr!cks calling me too. Am with WestCRAP and updated credit Card sent out last month. Know WESTCRAP has relationship with GE from my time there.

Feel like leaving a message with that banana on the answering machine and telling them to sod off.

Have you ppl. tried the Do Not Call register. I've put most of my phone numbers on there, not too sure if I've added the one that they've bombarded.

I have had both my home and mobile phone number on the Do Not Call register for about 5 months now. Our home number still gets telemarketing type calls but my housemates never ask for the company name so we can report them.

This is the first call of this type I've had on my mobile since registering, and have received calls two days in a row from different (02) 8023 numbers (8023 0361 and 8023 0451).

I am about to email the address given above and will expect no further calls.
