I keep receiving a call from this number it always appears as missed call when i call back it sounds like a hokes please email your findings to

I have received at least two calls a day from this number for the past week.  If I answer, and say nothing, the call stays connected.  As soon as I say hello, they hang up.  I called back once and it told me it was a hosted call centre and that I may be contacted in the future.

This number calls my mobile several times a day, I have never answered them, I wish they would give up

We've been getting calls from this number at the same time every night for the past week.  We've called the number back only to find out it is a hosted service and we may be called at any time in the future.  Whenever we answer the call, we get silence and the other end hangs up after a few seconds.  We are also on the DO NOT CALL REGISTER.

Will be taking this further.

I had the same thing happen to me earlier tonight and after I greeted the caller a few times the telephone connection was terminated.

Maybe the call is suppose to be serious and they are dialling numbers at random to get a complaint lodged so that the location from where the calls are being initiated from is visited and searched.

I have had this number ring me twice, once last week and once today. Both times they have rung my mobile around lunch time. I have not answered either of the calls and have not tried to call back. Are they only calling mobiles or are they calling landlines as well?

On the DO NOT CALL REGISTER and annoyed!'Hosted call centre' and may call me again in the future. What the? It's annoying and has no purpose. What can be done to stop these calls from coming through? I do not want my life interrupted with crap!

Got a call from this mob, on the Do Not Call register as well.
I wish these spammers would give up.

My home landline has been called every day  around the same time (between 9am and 10am) for the past several days - extremely irritating!!  Goes to my answering machine and no message left.  I answered once and no response (I hang up straightaway if no response after a couple of seconds, because I know it's a computer dialling, not a human!)

As the parent of a young baby, it's so aggravating to run to the phone for nothing or get woken while trying to nap after a sleepless night!

What can I do about these senseless calls?

If you are registered with do not call register you can lodge a complaint on their website and they do investigate - I have done this with three different numbers recently. They are prompt. You need to recall times also. If not registered do so.

Got a call from this no. on 10 Nov 2009 11:11 am. I *69*'d it and got the same message as above.

This number keeps calling me. I do not know it so I don't answer. Have not tried to call it back as yet

This number phoned my husband's mobile and it was apparently Courier-Mail offering a special deal of which I accepted. Then gave them my card details, etc, etc.....stupid me!. When I phoned back to check if it was a real deal, it was Hosted Contact Service Centre.
Now I had a a hard time canceling my card. That means waiting for a long time for a replacement card. I even phoned Courier-Mail Home Deliveries Service and they couldn't tell me if that was a legit call.One thing else, I am from Queensland!!!!!!!!!!!!

Bloody buggers - have been calling me and hanging up for months now - have got Telstra to now block this number from my telephone service - "extreme" measure, but I'm sick of constantly stopping whatever I am doing to answer the phone for a service that doesn't even leave a message.  Also sick of wasting time and money retrieving the phone number from my Telstra Messages 101 service.

Had a call from that number on my mobile a little while ago. I never answered it.

obviously they are still going. have been getting regular calls from them on my mobile. they called me twice in 3 minutes earlier. not good when you are waiting for someone else to call for something more important and all you get is that.
