Hung up without leaving a message

This number has repeatedly called my answering machine without leaving a message. I've also been getting no-message calls from the very similar (02) 8036-2150. These are characteristic of charity call centres

This number called me and said that they were the Police Citizens, or something like that, he was talking quite fast. He asked for a parent and when I said they weren't here he hung up.

RSPCA raffle, won't stop calling either

I am a shift worker and must get at least 10 calls a day from not just this number but various charity organisations, it's hard enough trying to get to sleep during daylight hours without the phone ringing all day from people wanting your money. They start in the morning and go on till at least 7 at night. I even get then ringing on Saturdays as well. I should not have to disconnect my phone  in my own house just so I can get some sleep before I have to go to work.  I wish there was a do not call application for shift workers.  I used to give money to a few charities, but because of this I refuse to give to any of them anymore.

Could not agree more - I am on the do not call register but extremely annoyingly, this does not apply to charities. They always call as I am about to put my daughter to sleep. Does anyone ever buy anything from these mugs?

almost 8pm last night when these [***] called for the umpteenth time, said they were from RSPCA Sydney

I am absolutely FED UP WITH THIS caller! They call at ridiculous time and will not stop. It is not charity it's a scammer. I am on the 'do not call register'. I am going to call my provider Telstra to see if they can block this number. Glad i'm not the only one!

I'm also a shift worker, only had been asleep for an hour when they rang. I normally take the phone off the hook but considering it was Saturday morning I didn't bother. Thanks for ringing me at 8am. I might ring you at 2am and see if your awake.

Do not want this number to call anymore .. Calls and hangs up

yes, hangs up never goes to messagebank.

Am getting 2-3 calls/day from this number every few weeks, then it stops for a while.  Phone rings about 4 times then hangs up.  If I answer, no-one there.  Ignore it now but bloody annoying.  I THINK it may be some company that runs an automatic calling system which records if and when the phone is answered, thus giving its clients (telemarketers and others, including charities I guess) the best time to phone you to solicit donations or sales.  Whatever, it's a bloody nuisance.  Any ideas on how to block these calls????

this number annoys the hell out of me. I always let it ring out but next time i'll answer it to see who the bloody hell these ppl are.

If we answer the call, they hang up so we let it go to the anwering machine and no message is ever left.

Got a call from this number just as I was putting my baby down to sleep. Of course he woke up! What a pain. They didn't leave a message.

I constantly get calls from this number. They continue to either hang up once I have answered or hang up and dont leave a message. I h!ave called back and it is the RCPCA telemarketers. I'm over it and have blocked them on the phone from ever ever getting through again - most annoying, go and get a real job
