Had a call recently from this number - claimed to be from Optus and was doing a survey about my experiences with the Optus service plans I had with them. At one point they asked me to go over through my account details - I didn't proceed further as I couldn't identify whether this was a legitimate call. Even if it was, why was there a need to go over my account details for something I did not call up on?

I just received a call from this number 0280490834 asking for me.  I said I was her daughter and who was it calling.  They told me it was Optus in Adelaide. When I asked what it was about they said it was about the account and they would have to speak to me personally due to security reasons.  The guy had a spanish or similar accent.
