I got a call from this number - the guy said he was from Optus and wanted to offer to save me money on my bill, but he sounded very dodgy! He started asking me for personal details like D.O.B. then got quite huffy when I said no! He then said, "oh I should tell you, this call is being recorded for training purposes so it's perfectly safe!" Yep, I hung up. Even if he is from Optus, he needs serious training in customer handling skills

They wanted my bank details

Someone rang but said nothing. Nuisance call.

This guy called from optus to cease my service.

Got a call from a woman who wanted me to take up offer with optus bundle and save money . She was so soooo determined to get my buisness to the point of rudeness . My son spoke to her thinking she was a scammer and she was rude to him saying as he was not the one paying the bills he should put his mother back on the phone . He hung up and then she called me back so angry and told me to decipline my rude son . We got another call from her saying she had spent a long time ( trying to give me this deal ) DO NOT agree to these people they want your details to steal everything

I got a call from this number asking about my Optus account and about restoring my services. He seemed very dodgey and determined for me to pay my bills

I got a call from this number at 1 am. I was having heated conversation on optus live chat with an operatir Isabella. I had a change of ownership of my number however they kept sending me the bill if the new owner and she was extremely rude and wasnot willing to help. While i was filling out their after chat feedback this number kept calling me but no one was saying anything. So unwanted at that hour!

Got a call from this number around midday. The man's voice had a strong accent and was really muffled. It sounded like a scam call so I hung up. I then received 4 calls in a row and declined then each time. Never experienced anything like that. Instant call block for this number!

Got 3 calls in a row from this number and no1 speaks. I have now blocked the number

Hey, at 5am this morning I received 2 missed calls from this number, near 6am I called it back and it said 'the mobile number you have called has been disconnected'. Within half hr my msgs, calls internet wasnt working and they had changed  my email passwords. Also changed my credit card password. I spoke to optus and they said my mobile number was now under a differrent sim card number but still under my name. They cancelled account and I've now got a new simcard. The guy in optus said it can happen and hes not sure how they do it But said he never answers or calls back unknown numbers cos of this. Apparently its been happening  lately mainly from russian numbers. So be careful!

The man calling had an Indian accent. He demanded my name, DOB. When I said I wouldn’t give them he told me my name and DOB and I was shocked he knew them. He then told me my address and said he would visit us and rape me and give me a hefty internet bill for it. I reported this to the police. He said his name eas Neve K.

I got a call from this number as 6pm on a Saturday. When I answered it they said they were from optus and wanted to know personal information to validate my account. When I said I would call Optus myself so I would know it was definitely them the man on the other end became VERY aggressive. Told me he had my information and that I would hear back from him soon. When I got home the next day my lamp was on (I never leave it on when I'm out) so I know it was him.

After i applied online for an nbn connection, the followup call was from this number. And yes it is a bit of a noisy line, with some static sound in it and background voices, so its probably from an Optus Indian call centre that routes via this Optus Sydney number.

If i ever find out where this call centre is located im firebombing it.

Not advisable, think of the repurcussions on family and loved ones if you are imprisoned for your actions. Think on!
